She spoke cautiously, breaking away from my worries, "I know who you are."

Cocking my head, I waited for her to continue.

"You're Arogen. I didn't know that it was true until I saw you. Your wings. I saw you flying and I knew it was true."

"Who sent you?" Zion questioned.

I turned, remembering this probably was new to him as well but was met with a gaze not of surprise, but of worry.

"I-I can't say. Please don't make me."

"Does anyone else know?" I asked, fearing this was only the beginning.

Her silence gave me what I needed. I reached towards my neck preparing to touch the necklace before Zion reached out grabbing my hand to stop me. Ripping the necklace off my neck, he stomped on it, breaking it. A blue light escaped out of the shards, evaporating into the air.

"Hey!" I yelled at Zion. "That was from the Headmaster to protect me. I was going to summon her here to help us! "

"That." he said, pointing to the broken necklace now in pieces on the ground, "was a magical tracker. In the wrong hands, it could be dangerous. Now that we know that there are people in this school that know who you are and want to kill you, you can't trust anyone. Not even the Headmaster."

He stepped in front of me, grabbing one hand while lifting my chin up with his forefinger to look into his eyes.

"I'm not going to let you die." he stated, his forehead wrinkling in distress.

"I'll be fine." I assured him, looking deep into his eyes before turning back to Sara.

"We can keep an eye on the Headmaster but we should still tell her. She is the one who told me to keep it a secret that I was Arogen, why would she send someone to kill me?" I asked, in an attempt to convince him.

"You're right." he said, agreeing.

My head raced with thoughts. It couldn't be the Headmaster. The Headmaster was the only one who stood up for me and let me stay here. She took the spell off of me and has been checking up on me since I got here. I couldn't possibly imagine her trying to kill me. I made a mental list in my head of who knew who I was. John. Sophia. Alan. Sengal. Mr. Sharp. Narxus. It could be any of them.

"I'll go ahead to the Headmaster's office and tell her." Zion offered, searching my eyes.

"Okay." I said, forcing a smile.

"Don't let her out of your sight. I'll be back. This won't take long." he promised before disappearing off in a blink.

I watched Sara, cautiously, before walking towards her. She looked up at me, visibly shaking under the pressure.

"Why do they want me dead?" I implored, curiously.

"You're going to destroy us all." she replied, eyes steady.

As promised, Zion suddenly appeared, Headmaster in hand. From his ragged breathing, I deduced they must've traveled quite a distance.

Rushing over towards me, the Headmaster grabbed my hand while scanning my body with her eyes. I yanked my hand back, still cautious from Zion's words.

"Saron, are you okay?" she asked, eyes laced with concern.

Softening my gaze, I convinced her, "I'm fine."

I pointed over to Sara, crouched on the ground, hugging her body close to her. She must have slithered further away from me when they arrived because she was no longer in front of me but was instead a couple feet away from me.
