Still watching me unsurely, he walked towards me.

"What's the spell?" I asked impatiently, ready to begin.

"Saron, before you begin you should know there is no guarantee you will win this. In fact, it's never been done before. You may defeat the dark magic but your father might not survive this."

I nodded furiously, not willing to accept that I would lose Edward.

"The spell is the simple part. It's only two words, Dafear Acrtuis. The hard part of it all is fighting the dark magic. He will get into your head, place all your fears and doubts in front of you. He will trick you with illusions. You have to focus on the spell and the spell alone. It will be extremely hard to fight him. If you lose control for even one second, he has won. Do you understand?"

"Yes."

"Very well. You will practice fighting the illusions today. If you can fight it off, we might have a chance of winning this."

He walked over to the end of the room, pushing a button before flitting out the room in a second. I watched as a white fog began to expand inside the room, waiting for it to hit me. I held my breath as it touched me, immediately beginning it's hallucinations.

"I'm dead because of you," hissed my mother

"Nobody likes you," whispered Amy.

"You ruined everything," purred Edward.

I screamed as my mind was bombarded with the voices of everyone I know whispering all my deepest fears. That I was unwanted. That I was a monster. I fell to my knees, squeezing my head in my hands as tears poured down my face. It was unbearable. I could feel my body start to heat up as I was shaking. NO! THIS ISN'T REAL. THIS ISN'T REAL. I screamed internally in efforts to stop the voices and they did. It became deathly silent as the voices faded away.

I opened my eyes slowly to find myself in a small, dark room. It looked much like my old room before the Academy, except it was empty. There was nothing but tall walls surrounding me that seemed to go up into oblivion. There was no door in sight. I stretched out my wings slowly, careful not to hit them in the tight space I was confined in. I began to soar up, higher and higher into the darkness in search for a way out. The farther I went, the more I started to doubt whether there was a way out. Frustrated, I felt magic began to scratch at my skin, desperate to escape my body. I raised my hand towards the wall, allowing it to flow out of me and pierce the wall. The wall crumbled revealing Edward on the other side, knee deep in quicksand holding out his hand for my help.

"Father!" I screamed, jumping right through the wall, barrelling towards him arms outstretched. As soon as I was arm's length of saving him, he rescinded his outstretched arm sinking completely into the quicksand.

"It's all your fault," I heard a voice echo in my head, getting louder and louder each time. I dove into the quicksand, furiously digging as I began to sank.

"Edward!" I screamed, holding my breath before I sank in completely. I poked and prodded within the sand, to no avail. I could feel my energy start to drain as I began to feel myself stop. Before I faded, I felt a hand grab onto mine, pulling me out.

I coughed violently as soon as soon as I felt air enter my body, once again. I looked up to find Liam, staring down at me with a smile on his face. Shocked, I began to scoot backwards. No. NO. NO.

"Edward!!!!!!!!!" I yelled, looking around me desperately. I was in a cave, the ground wet with water that was coming from a waterfall on the other sides. I snapped my head up, remembering Liam's presence.
