I started grabbing food off the platter and shoving it in my mouth. It was as good as it looked. With every bite, the taste was exploding in my mouth, leaving me wanting more. I moaned in pleasure looking up to Star to find her still looking at me, searching my eyes for some kind of answer.

"Look, I just got a bad feeling about him, okay? Can we just eat?"

After a huff, Star dropped it and started devouring the food with me. Before long, the platter was cleared and we were left heaving in satisfaction.

"This is how it is everyday?"

"Yeah," Star replied with a twinkle in her eye.

"I love it already."

I turned my eyes to our surroundings finding a few lingering eyes still gaping at us.

"It's getting late, Star, let's go back," I said, suddenly feeling exhausted from the day's events and wanting to rest.

Star readily agreed and we walked back to the White wing. Once we got back, we went straight to our section where a few girls' eyes were staring but, less than before.

"Is this my bed?" I asked, pointing at an unnamed bed beside Star's.

"Yeah. Your stuff should be in the closet."

"Closet?" I questioned looking around in confusion seeing no shelf in sight.

"Touch the bed."

I cocked my eye at her while slowly dropping my hand to touch my bed. As soon as my fingertips brushed the bed, a huge walk in closet came into view beside it, as if it was in hiding and just came out to play. It had my name etched on the top—Saron in cursive letters. I yelped, in surprise and looked to Star to find her giggling hysterically.

I rolled my eyes and opened up the shelf to find the little clothes I had neatly hung up inside along with new clothes I didn't recognize. I noticed a white blazer with the words Edgewood in the top right pocket with black pants. There were also a couple shirts with the name of the Academy printed on the sleeve. There were also a couple jackets, which I supposed were to keep me warm during the coming winter.

"Is this a uniform?" I asked, holding up the smooth, white blazer I pulled out from the closet.

"Yeah! Isn't it so pretty? Everyone wears the blazer with the color of their assignment so they can tell which wing we're from. We can choose our pants but we have to wear the blazer to class everyday."

"How do we know what our schedule is?" I asked, carefully placing the blazer back in the closet.

"We get them tomorrow. They should be waiting for us, here when we wake up."

Nodding, I started rummaging through one of the shelves finding all the necessary items—combs, lotion, shampoo, perfume, towels, etc. I grabbed a towel, shampoo, and my favorite pair of black sweatpants coupled with one of my new shirts.

"I'm going to shower."

"Have fun!" replied Star, winking at me.

I laughed at her enthusiasm and took my leave towards the showers. It had become late so most students were now in their assigned section and I only found a few kids still lingering the halls. I stepped into the nearest private bathroom, placing my things down and peeling off my clothes. I set the shower to the hottest setting, just how I liked it and jumped in. I let the water warm up my cold body as steam accumulated around me. I poured shampoo over my head and washed my hair, my curls bouncing once again looked hydrated and shining a vibrant orange. I closed my eyes, letting my mind wander soaking in the day's events. I scowled, remembering the strange boy from the cafeteria. Why did my mind keep returning to him? Maybe...could he be Arogen like me? No. It wasn't possible. The Headmaster told me I was the last. Star also told me there were only two types of hybrids here. He had to be one of the two, I was betting on a vampire—werewolf. There was something animalistic about it that reminded me of the werewolves. Anyways, enough about him. What about Edward? If what Star said was true, Edward would want to take over my body. If that was the case, why hasn't he come for me yet? Was he even alive? My mind was spinning in circles so fast my head felt like it was on fire. I felt my fingers start to tingle violently and looked down to find fire emerging from my fingertips.
