As usual, I am here all alone in our house. My parents are on another business trip in Dubai, leaving me here by myself. Medyo sanay na akong mag-isa since they always do this, they always prioritize work rather than their own daughter. In other families, pinapahalagahan nila ang kanilang pamilya at mga mahal sa buhay higit pa sa kahit anong bagay, but that doesn't apply to my family. I can't feel their love, kahit kaunti man lang. Maybe if I die tonight, they wouldn't really mind it and will continue doing their business.
Scrolling on YouTube, trying to find videos that I can watch to remove the boredom that I'm feeling right now. I'm searching for BTS's funny clips, even though I almost watch all of those clips. I watched all of their music videos, fancams, even the Run BTS series. Naubusan na ako ng papanuorin kaya itinuon ko nalang ang aking atensyon sa aking cellphone.
"Oh!" I exclaimed when I saw Harrison's IG story, a selfie of the whole squad in the hospital without me. Syempre nga, di ako pumayag na samahan sila tonight since someone needs to guard the house right now. The body guards and the maids will arrive tomorrow para bantayan etong bahay, so it means I can leave this house tomorrow.

I was sleeping and a cold breeze woke me up. I mean— it's cold since the aircon is turned on, but this feels different. Bumangon ako mula sa aking pagkakahiga and looked at the time, 11:37 PM. I just slept a hour ago, but I'm not sleepy or whatsoever. The breeze became colder, and I'm starting to think about things. I can sense something but..... but........ fuck I don't know!
It is so fucking cold that I start to shiver so I immediately got off my bed and turned the aircon off. I can still feel the coldness pero hindi na ganoon kalala. There's really something going on right now, but I can't figure it out.
That's when I heard something downstairs. I looked at the time and it's now 11:39 PM. That gave me chills, I'm here all alone and no one will be downstairs since ako nga lang mag-isa dito sa bahay. No one will ever visit my house this late. "Fuck!" I silently cursed. I need to be brave, I need to be fucking brave!
I grabbed my dad's baseball bat that is near me. Buti nalang medyo burara si dad at nalagay niya dito yung baseball bat niya imbes dun sa kwarto niya. This is the first time I'm doing this, acting that I'm bold and brave like Alex even though I'm her complete opposite. Sobrang arte ko kaya hindi ako nakikipag-away, unlike her. But this is different, this is a life-to-death situation.
This can either save me, or kill me.
I am heading towards the door, taking all of my courage with me. I slowly opened it and I saw the dark hallway. The light switches are near the stairs so kailangan ko pang pumunta dun para iandar ang ilaw. Hinigpitan ko ang aking pagkakahawak sa baseball bat dahil sobrang na akong natatakot.
I went to the stairs with moderate speed and I immediately try to find the switches. I finally found it and was about to open the lights when I saw a shadow from downstairs. "Shit." I cursed under my breath and backed off. Unti-unting lumalaki yung shadow which means na paakyat na siya so I hurriedly went to my room, locked the door and hid under my bed. Nagdadasal na ako sa lahat ng Diyos, pati na rin ata sa mga santo. "Sana di niya ako makita dito." sabi ko saking isipan.
The sounds of the footsteps grew louder, and my breathing became heavier. There was banging on the door, someone is trying to break in! Someone is really banging on the door pretty hard, and the door seems near to collapse. My tears started to fall, I don't know what to do! Then the door opened, and I can see that the intruder is not a person. It's......
What is that?
Its familiarity hit me which make my breathing more heavier. I tried to cover my mouth to prevent noises but it is just impossible. The demon..... the demon that we saw in Sebastian's laptop. "He's here." I said in my thoughts. He's here, maybe he'll kill me like what Alex said to us, like what he did to Alex's mother.
He then faced the bed, exactly in the direction where I am hiding. "Fuck." I silently cursed once again as it slowly went into the bed. I can clearly see its shoes, ragged and dusty, like a very old pair of shoes. Its smell traveled across the room, a smell of dust and old blood. In short, a very disgusting and unpleasant smell.
The figure angrily grunted, and slowly went to the door and left. I saw its figure slowly disappear to the dark hallway. I heavily sighed, I'm thankful that it didn't caught me. "I must leave now bago niya ako mahuli." I said and tried to look around to make sure that it isn't here anymore.
"Oh fuck!" I screamed as somebody grabbed me on my legs. I tried to grab the baseball bat but it's too late.
