Rapid footsteps are heard outside our room, and the door finally revealed them. I am just crouching on the bed, hugging my own knees. As my tears kept on falling, I then felt warmness on me. I looked up and saw Isabelle hugging me.

"T-th-this is m-my..... f-fault." I frighteningly said, then she immediately shook her head but I know that she's just doing that para mapagaan ang loob ko. It is not effective actually; magiging magaan lang ang loob ko kung matatapos na ito, kung wala nang mamamatay sa mga kaibigan ko.

Sana di nalang sila nadamay, sana ako nalang ang namatay.

"No, Lex. Don't blame yourself. You are the victim, Maddie also became the victim. Kaya tahan na, wala kang kasalanan sa pagkawala ni Maddie." paninigurado ni Isabelle at hinigpitan ang kanyang yakap sa akin. I just cried even more; the thought of Maddie getting killed makes me want to blame myself. Buti sana kung ako lang maaapektuhan nitong kagaguhan na ito, pero hindi eh.

Lahat sila'y nadadamay ng dahil sakin.

Humiwalay na si Isabelle sa pagkakayakap niya sakin, at pumalit naman si Kiel. He adjusted his arms, showing me that I can also hug him. Agad-agad akong lumapit sa kanya, at dun ko na naramdaman ang kanyang mga bisig. Sinubsob ko ang aking mukha sa kanyang dibdib at dun ko nilabas ang aking mga natitirang luha. Kinurot ko ang kanyang likod para mawala ang mga hinanakit sa aking puso, at hindi man lang siya umangal. Hinayaan niya lang akong umiyak, and him doing this really helped me..... a lot.

After several minutes, medyo huminahon na ako. They did several things para lang tumahan ako, and I finally stopped crying. Even though I finished grieving, Kiel is still holding my hand. He's really not letting me go.

"Since you've already calmed down, you have to see this." sambit ni Sebastian sa nasa dulo ng room at hindi maalis ang kanyang mga mata sa laptop na hawak niya. Dahan-dahan itong lumapit sa pwesto ko, kaya sinundan siya ng iba. What made his eyes look like that?

Dala-dala niya ang kanyang laptop at mariin iyong iniharap sakin. I looked at the screen, which is what others also did. The screen is red.  And just like last time, there is only one folder in the desktop.

I remembered the last time we've opened it, and that was both traumatic and horrifying. I don't know what will be inside the folder, maybe it was still the same as before.

"When did the screen turned red, Seb? It was not like that earlier." nagtatakang tanong ni Rebecca kay Sebastian. Medyo naguluhan ako kasi pagkatanong ni Rebecca nun ay biglang tumingin sakin si Seb. Medyo nakakakilabot ha.

"Exactly when Alex stopped crying." he said, which made the others turn their heads into me. I don't know if that is just a coincidence or what. But you know what? That shit creeps me out.

I then bravely pressed the folder, and unexpectedly there's only one video but this time's different. It still contains one video but that video has different name. It is just a simple "(1)" which is the reason kung bakit napakunot ang aking noo.

What is it this time?

Hindi klaro kung ukol saan ang video na ito since the thumbnail of it is pure black, just black which is so strange. I kinda resisted, but I still find the courage to click the video, and successfully I did.

oh fuck.

"HELP! Is someone there?!! P-please!" sabi ng isang pamilyar na babae habang tinitignan ang paligid niya. Maddie is now in a room full of dirt and rust, and it looks like a fucking basement. Napansin ko rin ang nagdurugo nitong ulo, maybe that's where the blood came from that was found in her bedroom.

She then looked at the camera which is in front of her. It is visible in her eyes that she's pleading, that she truly wants to live. "Please, p-pakawalan niyo a-ako. I-i still want to live." she said her tears flowed on her cheeks. The moment she said that, my tears began falling again. My emotions earlier came back, and it became worse.

Then my biggest nightmare showed up at her back, and base from what I observe, it's holding a knife— a big one. Then it immediately place it in Maddie's neck. "No... no... No!... NO!!!!!" I panicked when I saw the fear in Maddie's face. Naluluha akong yinakap ni Isabelle and Rebecca at pilit kong kumawala sa kanila. This can't be happening! Please, not again!!

Then I saw her again, and she showed a sign of defeat based on the expression of her face. "Before I die, I just want to say something." she faced the camera wholeheartedly. She smiled despite the pain she's going through, which made me tear up more.

"Alex, it's not your fault. I know you're blaming yourself, but don't. Please don't." she said to the camera as if she's talking to me. "I love you guys, with all my heart. You've been the best thing that I had in my life, and I hope that we'll meet again, soon." she smiled, and it is clearly a genuine smile that I haven't seen from her for years. "And lastly, Harrison.." she stated and paused for some time. I looked at him and he's anticipating on what she's going to say.

She sighed before continuing. "I-....... I love you, I really do." and this was her last words before she was slit in the neck and the video ended. The room was filled on tears and sobs, mostly Harrison.

"I love you too, Madeleine." he whispered but enough for all of us to heard it. Then Dylan came to him and comforted him. This day has been the worst, one of our friends just died. "Keep the video, we can report it to the police!" sigaw bigla ni Dom. He's right! He's totally right about that!

Then the laptop's screen became black. I panicked and tried to open the laptop, but it wouldn't turn on. Kiel saw what happened, and he is clueless just like me.

"The laptop stopped working just now, and that's fucking strange." seryosong sabi ni Kiel sa kanilang lahat na siyang lalong nagpagalit kay Dom. That video is the only prove of what is happening right now, pero nawala pa yun. We're doomed, we're really doomed.

She was the first victim that died. And I'm afraid that it will be followed by another. If that happens, I don't know what to do. There's nothing that can stop this, even us.

We're part of the curse, and this is just the beginning.
