Dang another day. I look beside to see amity sleeping peacefully beside me. I start to shake her. "Wake up babe" I said
She groggily gets up. "Why... there isn't a rush" amity said
"But it is the next school year" I said
She immediately gets up. "WHAT" she yells as she runs around to get her stuff while I just get up and use my cloths spell. I hold out my hand and my katana comes to me. "Noice. I didn't miss this time" I said
Amity runs out and I stop her. "We got to go" amity said
I give her a pancake and her books. "You go I'll get luz" I said
She nods and goes. I go to luz's room while drinking a nitros. I slam her door open. "WHAA WHO DARES ENTER MY DOMAIN" luz yelled
"Me and we got to go to school" I said
I walk out. "Wait for me" luz yelled with her emo cloths on. "Copying me and my beanie" I said
"I like it and you can't make me take it off" luz said holding her beanie.
"Alright. It's not like I am going to take mine off anyway" I said
"Why's that" luz ask
"I want to hide what happened in hell" I said
I look at the time. "Alright time to teach you how to make your staff fly at your will" I said
She taped her glyph on her arm and the staff appeared. "Alright now feel the energy in the staff. And then think of it as a arrow. Now direct that arrow in the direction you want and it will go" I said
"Alright" luz said
She closed her eyes and the staff glowed purple and it went up. "Oh I'm doing it" luz said
"Good now go because we got three minutes to class" I said
"AHH GUN IT STAFF" luz yelled and the staff went
"Alright time to do this" I said
I went into cursed mode and my eyes glowed red. Red lightning surrounds me and I am now in a lightning dragon. I point to the school and it went. When I got there I made it dissipate and I walk in. "Ah good ole school. I actually missed this place in hell" I said
I then hear running behind me to see luz. "Hey luz" I said
"How. I was going as fast as I could with my staff. I even pressed the button" luz said
"Not telling you. Welp I'm going to illusion class" I said
"Aren't you in abomination" luz asked
"Well I'm taking that with illusion" I said
We went our separate ways and when I entered the class I saw Gus, Emira, and edric. "You know the rules and so do I" I said
Edric looked up and he suddenly looked happy. "SERENE. YOUR NOT DEAD" edric yelled
He ran tward me and hugged me. Gus and Emira also joined. "How I thought you died" Gus said
"I did" I said
They look at me. "I went to hell but amity got me back with my hints" I said
"Wait what's that under your beanie" Emira said reaching for it. I slap her hand away and cover the open spot. "Nothing it's nothing. I think we should just start class since I am with you all." I said
They look at each other and nod. "Ok" they all said with a look of determination in there eyes. Oh god there's something bad about to happen to me. We all sat down and the teacher came in. "Hello students welcome to your second year at hexide. We got a new student joining us for illusion track this year, serene Cortez" the teacher said pointing to me. I wave my hand to everyone. "Alright we shall review how the illusion is projected to make it reality. It is a complex type of magic that makes it solid out of a animal. Like so" the teacher made a circle and a copy of herself came out. It grabbed a pencil and made a note that said she is real. The teacher tapped the copy's shoulder and it dispersed into pigeons. "It's just like itachi" I said
"Alright Gus your up first" the teacher said
Gus made a circle and it made a copy of himself he then punched it and it dispersed into tiny lizards. Emira did it next and hers dispersed into cats. Edric did it to and his dispersed into ducks. "Alright Serene give it a try" the teacher said
I did a shadow spell to make me dissapear and I made myself come out of the shadows. I shoot a lighting bolt at my copy and it dispersed into crows. I tap the teachers shoulder behind her. "Was that good" I asked
"It was excellent. You showed it in a different way of showmanship. A+" the teacher said
Everyone cheered for me and I sat down. Edric looked at me. "Show off" edric said with a chuckle
"Well I heard you are all about showmanship so I did that" I said
The class ended and everyone came up to me. "Good job Serene" a student said
"Man your so cool" another said
"Thanks guys it was nothing" I said
I walked with the blight twins and Gus. "So can we see what's under the beanie" Gus said
"No" I said
"But why" Emira said
"Because you would all think I am a freak" I said
"No we won't. We promise" edric said
I thought for a moment. "Fine just don't tell anyone not even luz or amity" I said
They nod. I first rolled up my sleeve to show a robotic arm. They gasp. "How did that happen. Amity never said anything about your arm getting cut off" Gus said
"It was in hell where I was changed. Now for what you really want" I said
I pulled my beanie to show metal components on my head. My lines on my face glow red. " I am part machine now. I was so damaged in hell that I had someone do this to me so I could live" I said
I put my beanie back on my head. "So do you still think I am a witch after all this" I said while rolling my sleeve back down and putting my glove back on. "Well are you still Serene we know" Emira asked
"Yeah" I said
"Then you are still our friend. Witch or not" edric finished
I look at the three. I then hug them. "Thanks guys" I said
"Hey what are friends for" Gus said
"Or future sister in law" ed and em said
I blushed at that and the two laughed.
