Me and luz get to the school and then luz finds her two friends. Now I am alone so I wonder around and find a sparring arena. I go into it and take my cloak off. I felt that spark yesterday. It was like another part of the artist fire. A variation maybe. I summon my fire and play with it a little. It turns out the fire is dense enough I can stand on it without going through it. I try to make my fire bigger but it wouldn't work. I am trying to make the fire so destructive that it could destroy a part of the forest. But only for a last resort. I saw a anime character called ace do something like that where he made a fire so large it destroyed a island. Also when someone shot him it was like he was made of fire and it passed through him. It is a interesting concept. I tried again and it was getting hot so I took off my hoodie leaving only my crop top. I tried again and it got bigger and bigger.
Amity pov
I was walking around since it was a free period and for some reason when I passed the training room it was hot. I wonder what is wrong with that. I go in and the heat just hit me dead on. It was a big ball of black fire. Wait isn't that Serene. I blushed a lot, She only had a crop top on. Amity blight what are you thinking. Stop. I see the ball getting bigger and bigger. I heard her groan from the pressure of the magic she is outputting. It is amazing how much she has to make this. I also see sparks around her from time to time. Weird I swore she didn't use lightning spell in the match. I look at the time and see it is almost time for the next class. I sigh that I have to go down to get her. I go down there then when I got to a certain point the edge of my book incinerated. I scooted back quickly. Hopefully she can hear me. "SERENE" I yelled
Suddenly the ball evaporated and steam was everywhere. It settled and it cleared to see Serene on a knee panting. "A-Amity w-what are you doing here" Serene said kinda nervous for some reason.
"It is almost time for the next class and I saw you so I just thought I should tell you." I yelled
Serene pov
Wait she saw me. Wait. I look down to see I only have my crop top. My face heats up and I know I'm blushing by this point. "U-Um ok thanks a-amity" I say to her
I run to my hoodie and cloak and put it on. I freaking sounded like a doofus in front of amity. Stupid. I mentally slap myself. I run to the next class and it is abomination class. I make it in time and see luz then I see amity. I sit in-front of amity and listen to the lecture on abominations. Figured out it was the goo thing Amity was using in the fight. I do my spell circle and it creates a abomination about a few inches taller than me with a few tries. After one of the other students fail to make a abomination the teacher roasted everyone. I was trying to hold back my laughter and keep my stoic face but sometimes a few snorts come out. The class ended and I saw luz try to talk to Amity but amity got mad at her and walked away. I was going to do something but her friends came before I did so I thought she was fine. I go back to the training room and I forgot I brought my AirPods from earth here so I pop those in and started to do my fire. I was listening to thunderstruck and then I sang a certain part of the song while making a dragon out of fire. "You've been. Thunderstruck" and when I said that the flames turned to purple lightning. "WOAH" I fell back on my chair and looked at the lightning dragon I made. "Ha... hahaha I did it. I made a new part of the artist fire. I shall call it V2: thunderstruck" I said
I closed my hand and the dragon disappeared into nothing. I get my stuff and go out of the arena. I see Luz with two people. They look like amity copy's. HMMMMMMM. I'm gonna say hi. I walk over to them. "Hey luz, whose your friends." I ask
"Oh Serene this is Edric and Emira." Luz says
"Hello" they say
"Pleasure to meet you both" I say
"So want to join in on what we are doing" edric asked
"Now what fun would that be" I ask
"Library pranks" Emira says
"Oh ho ho. I have done many of those in my days" I say
I think of all the stuff I can do now that I have magic. Oh all the stuff the librarians are about to suffer. "Serene you there" luz says waving a hand in my face
"Oh sorry I'm just thinking of all the pranks I can do with magic now" I say
I look to see edric and Emira smirking with me. We all go to the library and edric does the first prank with erasing the non in non fiction. A librarian had a whole melt down about life and it was priceless. Emira use a telekinesis spell to open all the drawers with all the discovered glyphs. The same librarian had a melt down again. I used a ice spell on a student getting a book and he couldn't get it out. I then melted the ice and he flew backwards from the amount of force he put into the pull. We all hi five each other. Then we get kicked out because of amity. Luckily I hid when they got the rest of them and amity didn't know it was me doing some of the pranks. I go look in a section of books and found one on the Cortez line. I grab it and go to get it checked out. I get back to the owl house and decide that I will read the book in the morning.
