Chapter 19

'The masquerade ball'

Warning; mature scenes ahead!

'Bloody hell, how does she sleep through all of that?'

'I don't know, maybe we should pour water over her.'

'Excellent idea!'

'You know I can hear you guys, right?' I slowly opened my eyes.

Hermione and Luna were towering over me with parted lips.

'Amelia! Finally, you're awake.' Hermione crossed her arms.

I rolled over to my side, with my back facing them. I had no idea what time it was, but I just didn't feel like getting up.

'Hey, why were you sleeping on the common room couch?' Luna said.

'I'd like to know that too actually.' Hermione added.

'Because MY ROOMMATE doesn't want me in her dorm.' I made sure to talk loudly so Parkinson would hear.

'Why are you guys here anyway?' I changed the subject.

'well, since the ball is tonight- '

I pressed my pillow on my face.

'Not the bloody ball, is that tonight?' I cut Luna off.

Perfect, I didn't feel like getting up and now I have to go to ball as well.

Oh and did i forget to mention that bloody Louis is my date?

'Yes! And I'm sure you haven't got a dress yet?' Hermione asked as she pulled the pillow off my face.

'No, and I'm not gonna go, I look like shit.' I rubbed my eyes in with my palms.

I really did look like shit. My hair was messed up, I had lost some weight, my skin was paler and I had the darkest circles to ever exist under my eyes.

'Yes, you are!' Hermione pulled my blanket off me as well.

'We are going dress shopping and you are coming with us.' She added

'Hey Luna' Adrian came out of his dorm with his quidditch uniform walking towards us with a smile.

Luna started blushing instantly as she was playing with her ring.

'Hey' she answered.

'Hope to see you later at my game.' He winked and walked out of the common room.

Luna couldn't stop smiling.

'He asked me to the ball yesterday.' She turned her head back at me and Hermione.

'Did he? How nice!' I was acting surprised.

But I was genuinely happy for her, Luna deserves someone who will be good to her and treat her right.

'You're going to his quidditch game now?' Hermione asked.

'Well not just for him, they are playing against Ravenclaw.' Luna responded as she crossed her arms.

'Luna'

'Fine, I'm just going to see him again.' She admitted.

Hermione let out a chuckle, I couldn't help but do the same.

'Well good luck, me and Amelia will have breakfast in the meantime.' Hermione fixed her robe.

'Who says I'm hungry?' I sat up, looking up at her.
