Christina's POV
It made me sad how Alina didn't feel bad for me. I couldn't blame her though, I made her feel worthless and un pretty. She had every right to react like that. I just couldn't accept the fact that I had lost a wonderful friend. It made me feel bad for the way I acted. While I beat myself up for that I had to work up the nerve to tell my parents what happened. I honestly didn't want to tell them because I didn't want to bring up the conversation again. I just wanted to forget that it had happened.
I took a couple deep breathes and I made my way downstairs.
They were sitting at the dining room table, eating breakfast and drinking coffee.Christina: mom? Dad?
Dad: yes?
Mom: what's going on Chrissy?
Christina: when you guys were out of town, I decided to sign up for yoga classes. I was getting taught by a male instructor and he was very touchy during our sessions. Then one day, Jessica was out grocery shopping and we were...we-
Mom: y'all what Christina? Tell us
Christina: we were alone and he tried...he tried to rape me
Dad: WHAT?!
Mom: calm down Roy
Dad: NO! Jessica!
Jessica: yes sir?
Dad: did you know about this?
Jessica: yeah I knew but I-
Christina: dad calm down! Jessica isn't the enemy. She made call the police! Hiram is in custody for what he did to me
Dad: Jessica how come you kept this from us? We don't keep secrets in this house, we tell the truth
Christina: WHAT? You've keep my whole life a secret from me!
Mom: what are you talking about Chrissy?
Christina: Christina Watson? You thought I wouldn't find out?
Roy: Christina that's not the same thing! We had every right to know about what happened to you
Christina: HOW IS IT DIFFERENT? YOU NEVER TOLD ME I WAS ADOPTED LIKE EVER! I HAD THE RIGHT TO KNOW! DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULDN'T FIND OUT? OR WANT TO KNOW? THAT'S JUST SELFISH!
Mom: WATCH YOUR TONE!
Christina: I'm trying to prove a point here mom or should I call you Denise?
Denise: listen here Christina! We had our reasons for why we didn't tell you
Christina: what was the reason then?
Roy: it's not that simple Christina
Christina: that's what I thought
I walked away and went to my room. That conversation went left so fast and that wasn't my intentions. I wanted to approach the situation differently and calmer. I just wanted to know why my real parents put me up for adoption. It was a thought that haven't left my brain since I found out.
The next day...
Denise: honey wake up, you have to go to the police station to give your statementChristina: whatever but I'm not going if Jessica isn't
