Jisoo still couldn't stop thinking about the girl that caught her eye until she heard a cough right by her door.
"What brings you here M'lady?" She asked Jennie who was standing right by the door. "I just wanted to say that there will be a party next week so prepare my dress." Jennie said rather coldly before she left.
"Did something happen to Jendeuk?" Jisoo asked herself before she changed into her formal clothes and went out of town to get a dress for Jennie.
Jennie POV
I was just having a chat with Irene before she had to say her goodbyes since she had to go back to her kingdom. Among all of the nobles outside the kingdom Bae Joohyun was probably the only one I'd get along with.
We bid our farewells so I decided to find Jisoo hoping she's be back by now. She's not usually a slow person but rather she does things quite fast.
"Where is Jisoon's room?" I asked one of the maids and she pointed towards the right and I walked towards there.
Judging from the open door she had probably arrived but when I got closer I could hear her say things. I got closer and eventually reached the door frame and heared her say a person's name. Rosé. She mumbled and I wondered who in the kingdom is Rosé.
I stayed for awhile longer and noticed how she still hasn't detected her presence. I had enough and faked a cough to get her attention and it did.
I decided to ask her to prepare a dress for an upcoming party next week since many nobles from different kingdoms would come. I sighed and went back to my bedroom.
I looked outside the window and noticed how many people are smiling so genuinely. "I wish someone other than Jisoo could do that to me." I thought before I set my mind into something.
I left my room to go to another just to work. I'm doing well as a queen I guess but there was a root of evil in me that was slowly crawling its way up.
Lisa POV
I was invited to a party at the palace next week and I figured that I should bring Chaeyoung with me.
She just came back from her shopping and gave me a star and moon necklace which I just love.
"That girl is seriously making me fall for her deeper." I thought to myself before I went to find her so that we could pick outfits for next week.
I found her sitting on the sofa looking at her necklace which matched her perfectly. "Hey." I said and she looked at me. "Lisa is something wrong?" She asked and I shook my head.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go to a party next week." I told her and she raise her eyebrow. "Are you ok inviting me? I mean I'm just a civilian." She said and I sighed in disbelief.
"Of course it's ok! You'll be my plus one." I said and she looked at me. "If you put it that way then sure! I'd love to!" She said and my eyes were filled in happiness.
"Should we pick our outfits now or another day?" I asked her and she stood up. "Now should be fine." She said and she waited for me to change into casual clothing so the townsfolk won't make a fuss about a noble out of town.
Rosé and I were walking around town to find a shop with formal outfits and luckily we did. I loved how Chaeyoung was beside me casually talking and laughing as we walked.
We entered the shop and suddenly she spoke. "Jisoo?" I felt like I knew that name but other than that I felt an arrow shot my heart.
The woman turn around and said. "Oh hey Rosé." "Are they friends?" I asked myself before looking at Rosé wanting an explanation.
"Oh right Lisa. This is Jisoo my friend." She said and I mentally sighed in relief since she adressed her as friend.
I looked at the woman again and realize it was the same person whos hat flew. "Wait you're that girl that had her hat flying." I said and she chuckled at embarrassment.
"Looks like we meet again Lady Manoban." She said and my eyes widened from the fact that she knew my title.
"You're probably wondering how I know that." She said and I nodded. I felt an awkward tension between us and even Chaeyoung can feel it. "I'm actually a servant of a noble so no need to be surprises." She said and I raised my brow wanting to know who she serves.
"I'm sorry but I cannot tell you who I serve." She said. "Is this lady a mind reader?" I said to myself and again. "I'm not a mind reader Lady Manoban. I just know what people would be thinking." She said as she laughed.
"Isn't she interesting." Rosé said and I nodded in agreement. "Who knew this kingdom had a mind reading servant." I thought to myself and the three of us laugh.
It seemed that she was also picking an outfit for the party and to my surprise the three of us got along quite well. We were still awkward for a bit but Rosé would eventually break the tension.
Jisoo left after she picked out a suit and a dress which I assumed is for the person she serves. I was left with Chaeyoung and of course I didn't mind. I like being alone with her. It would look like we have our own little world.
We picked out our outfits and she picked out a peach dress. It was simple yet quite elegant and it goes well with her hair too.
I picked out my suit and Rosé clapped in agreement as I came out from the dressing room after trying it out.
"It looks amazing on you Lisa." She said with a smile that could just melt my heart. "Let's pay for these then." I said as we head to the cashier to pay. The day ended with new outfits and even a new friend. A very interesting one too.
Merry Christmas again. I might update later tonight so sit tight. Also drama will happen in a few chapters so wait.
