Chapter 17 - Meet my Friend

Jennie POV

I was still looking at the window thinking about my empty life until a knock was heard. "Pardon my intrusion." The husky voice I heard was Jisoo's and I can't be wrong about that.

She came in and I didn't bother to look. "I have prepared the dress for next week M'lady." She said. "Is something bothering you My queen?" She asked as if she already knew my problem.

I looked at her and noticed that her eyes were shining. "Just some things. Don't worry about it." I said and she bowed her head before she left.

A few moments later I suddenly was in a mood for company. I asked another servant to bring Jisoo to me and he did.

"M'lady did you need my presence?" She asked and I looked at her. "I want to go to the town." I suddenly blurted out without even thinking. "Great now she thinks I'm insane." I thought but what I got was a laugh from her.

"M'lady if that's what you want then I can clear your schedule for that." She said and I smiled at the news. "So when can you bring me to town." I said.

"I would recommend 3 days later. I have some friends I want you to meet." She said and I raised my brow. "Friends? Well of course she'd have some I mean she is the more open one." I thought to myself. "Ok then. Thanks Jisoo." I said before she excused herself from my workplace.

"I wonder who her friends are." I said to myself before I started signing some papers.

3 days later

"Jisoo!!" I exclaimed getting the attention of my sister. "Are we finally going?" I asked as I was filled with excitement. She paused for a moment and from what I see she was staring at me? No. Staring isn't the term but rather scanning.

"M'lady as much as I'd like you to wear what you want. We would get a lot of unwanted attention from your attire." She said as she sighed. I looked at myself again because I was wearing a dress. It was just simple but I guess a little too extra.

"Come here I'll lend you some clothes." Jisoo said as she softly dragged me to her place in the palace and took out some clothes.

"I'm sorry if this is quite simple Jen but trust me it's comfortable." She said as she handed me a pink shirt with black pants. I gave her a smile before I went inside her bathroom to change.

"I'm done." I said and she really wasn't lying. These clothes are far more comfy than my dresses. "Great it looks good on you Jen." She said and we finally head out of the palace and I was really excited what awaits.

Jisoo POV

I was waiting for Jennie at the hallway and when she arrived I was speechless at what she wore. It looked good on her true but it would attract too much attention that I really just want to avoid.

I made Jennie change into normal clothing and we finally got to go. I was excited to see Rosé and I was looking forward to joking around with Lisa. For a noble like her, crackheadedness isn't what you expect.

Jennie was humming beside me and it was music to my ears. We finally arrived and I saw Rosé and Lisa waving at us. "Hey guys!" I greeted them. "Hey Jisoo!" The both of them said in unison.

"Oh I forgot. This is Jennie." I said introducing Jennie hoping not to make them realize it was the queen but I miserably failed.

"My queen it's an honor to meet you." Lisa suddenly said as she bowed and so did Rosé. I didn't miss a blush on Jennie's cheeks but I decided to ignore it.

"Jisoo you didn't told me you were  friends with the queen." Rosé suddenly whispered to me in such a harmonic voice. "That's because I work under her." I said in response and she hummed.

"Jisoo can you give me a short explanation why you're bringing the queen." Lisa said smiling at me weirdly. "Ok ok long story short, I work under her highness." I said and Jennie smiled.

"It's really nice to meet you." Jennie said. "I'm Chaeyoung but you can call me Rosé and this is Lisa." Rosé started to introduce themselves and I could see that Jennie was interested in Lisa.

"Are you perhaps the Lalisa Manoban of the kingdom of the green?" Jennie asked and Lisa nodded. "Enough of introductions let's go around town." I finally said as I wanted to get a good look around town too since the only time I get to walk around the place is when I ran out of food.

3rd POV

The four went around town and bought quite a lot of things and ate a lot of food Jennie couldn't eat in the palace. They splited into duos since clearly some had their own interest. The groupings were Jisoo with Chaeyoung and Lisa with Jennie.

Throughout the whole time they were hanging out with each other the twins would occasionally take a glance at the person they're paired up with and clearly the two had their love interest but the question was. Who were their partner's interest

"So how was your shopping spree?" Jisoo asked Lisa and Jennie since they finally finished up checking the shops. "It was great! I have so many clothes now!" Jennie said happily.

"Jen sooner or later we might have a whole room just filled with your clothes." Jisoo thought to herself a bit worried. "How was your foodtrip?" Lisa asked. "It was delicious! I got to try so many yummy food." Rosé said as she smiled.

The four had to part ways but atleast they had a really great time together.

"Did you had fun Jendeuk?" Jisoo asked as Jennie started to cling onto Jisoo holding all of Jennie's bags. "I'd like to go here again if I can." Jennie said. "You miss Lisa don't you?" Jisoo asked Jennie a bit hurt by what she asked.

"Yes." Jennie sighed knowing telling lies would be inappropriate knowing Jisoo can tell. "Don't worry you'll get to see her again the the next four days." Jisoo said reassuring Jennie and she smiled.

"Thanks for letting me meet your friends Jisoo!" Jennie said and Jisoo smiled at her warmly. "Whatever makes you happy M'lady." Jisoo said as she also had a great time.

Jennie POV

We came back to the palace and Jisoo helped me place all the things I bought. "Thanks for the help Jisoo." I said and she bowed. "No problem M'lady." She said as she left.

I was left alone in my room and I decided to lay down my bed. My heart then decided to beat like crazy when I remembered what happened back at the town.

I smiled. Remembering how Lisa could make me smile and laugh so effortlessly. I wanted her and I really did. I knew it can happen since I had power.

Lisa......I started to murmur just like how Jisoo did to that Rosé girl I just met. She was beautiful too but knowing how Jisoo thinks she probably won't live in a world with love but rather just admiration. "I wonder if Jisoo fell inlove." I said to myself as I closed my eyes. "Impossible....even if she did fell for Rosé she'd let Rosé decide what she wants in life." I looked at the ceiling then closed my eyes again thinking.

"Jisoo is way too selfless while I'm the opposite.......I'm always the selfish one between us two."
