Chapter 23 - Switching (1/2)

A few days before

"M'lady you know they're gonna hunt you down." Jisoo said worried about her sister. "Don't worry I can manage it." Jennie said faking a smile but Jisoo could already see it. The girl already observed her sister long enough to know which is fake and not.

"What do you plan my queen? I know you don't have a plan to begin with." Jisoo said raising her voice a little. "Jen just let me help." Jisoo thought as her stubborn sister just refuses to budge. "You're right I don't have a plan to begin with. That's why I'm just going to accept death." Jennie said.

"M'lady! I can't allow you to die!" Jisoo said now shocked at what Jennie said. "And why is that? Clearly I am aware of my crimes." Jennie said taking a moment to remember what evil she has done so far.

"Even still! You deserve to live M'lady!" Jisoo said as she couldn't bare the fact of having her sister just dead. "I have a plan M'lady and I can ensure your safety with it." Jisoo said which made Jennie raise her brow.

"And what is that?" Jennie asked. "Switch places with me." What Jisoo said just gave complete shock all over Jennie's body. She couldn't explain what's happening but to put it in simpler words she was shocked.

"Jisoo! You know you'll die if you do!" Jennie yelled at her sister. "Even so! I will do it! I will protect you even if it cost my life! Sure call it cheesy or whatever but I can't risk loosing you!" Jisoo said making her eyes watery but no tear fell from it.

"Why do you even want to protect me!?" Jennie exclaimed not knowing what the appropriate respond should be. "Why in the world would you even do that?" Jennie asked herself worriedly.

"You ask why M'lady? Simple. It's because I love you." Jisoo said in a serious manner. "That's it!" "I'm not allowing you to do this! Who ordered you to do this huh!? Was it father!?" Jennie just practically spited out words at her.

"No one is making me do this my queen!" Jisoo said a bit triggered by how her sister thinks that she was being ordered. "Lies! In your position orders are what you get!" Jennie said mad.

"I'm not lying! Have I ever lied to you about something serious in the past!?" Jisoo yelled back. "And yes I'm a servant but I'm also your sister!" she added which made Jennie froze.

"Then if you put it that way....Listen to your sister for god damn sake!" Jennie shouted at her. "Listen? Listen!? I've been doing that for my whole life! It's your turn to listen to me!" Jisoo yelled back in authority.

"I've been doing your orders obediently even if it HURTS!" Jisoo screamed as a tear fell. "Hurt?..." Jennie thought in shock.

"You ordered me to kill Rosé without even considering how Lisa felt towards her....how I FELT TOWARDS HER!" Jisoo yelled as she was crying and so did Jennie. The words Jisoo said just hurt her knowing how she wasn't aware of her sister's feelings and was only thinking of herself.

"You could have told me if you didn't want to!" Jennie said. "And would it stop you from killing her?" Jisoo said sarcastically which made Jennie go silent. "See?" Jisoo said before taking a deep breath.

"I'm taking your place the day they attack." Jisoo said in a cold manner. "You are not going to!" Jennie said. "And who's gonna stop me!?" Jisoo replied raising her brow. Jennie practically tugged on Jisoo's clothes and said. "I will."

"Try me." Jisoo said walking away with Jennie being dragged with her. "I hate you." Jennie said as Jisoo stopped. "What?" Jisoo asked again as she wasn't sure if she heard it right. "Hate? You got to be kidding right?" Jisoo said to herself.

"I said I hate you!" Jennie screamed before she let go of Jisoo. "Why are you always keeping things to yourself!? You only tell it to me when I ask! Why do you not even think of yourself!?" Jennie said as tears fell  from her face.

"You're always shutting me out on things so that I don't have to worry about it." Jennie said in a soft tone as her knees felt weak and she knelt down.

"You're always been doing that as if I can't help you with anything." Jennie said again and Jisoo just felt bad. "Jendeuk I-" Jisoo was cutted off. "I'm not done yet." Jennie said.

"You still stayed with me when almost everyone here hated me."

"You killed someone you really love because of me."

"I made you do ridiculous request from me."

"Yet why are you still here?"

"Why did you stay?"

"Why did you do it?"

"What in the world made you do all those things!?"

Jennie said all of those and Jisoo bent down and hugged her.

"I ask those questions myself too Jendeuk." Jisoo started.

"I don't know why I always have to perfect everything when it comes to you." Jisoo said laughing a little.

"I don't know why I get dissapointed if something doesn't pleases you."

"I don't know why all my worries and deep thoughts just dissapear the moment I see you."

Jisoo told Jennie as the latter was rubbing her hand back and forth at her sister's back to calm her down.

"I don't understand why I do those things."

"It just makes me confused since I don't know the answer."

"I really don't."

"But my mom always told me that."

"A person could do anything when in love."

"My eomma also said something too."

"Love is not what you say but what you do."

"I know hearing that makes me incest but I really do felt it."

Jisoo said and Jennie just looked at her. "You love me?" Jennie ask and Jisoo could only nod.

"Now please let me take your place." Jisoo said as Jennie hesitated.

"I have already enjoyed my life with my mothers and my life was filled with memories." "It's time for you to experience the same." Jisoo said and Jennie just smiled softly and painfully. "You still care about my happiness huh."

"Why do you do so much for me to be happy?" Jennie asked and Jisoo could only smile.

"Because I wish for M'lady to be happy and because I wish to protect Jendeuk's smile for ethernity." Jisoo said brushing a strand of Jennie's hair.

"Can we just stay here and talk before you know." Jennie mumbled and Jisoo laughed a bit. "Sure Jendeuk." Jisoo replied and Jennie just gave her a gummy smile.

"The smile that makes my heart go insane. The smile that showed how happy she is. Most importantly the smile that I wanted to protect."

Am surprised my butt and legs aren't hurting right now.
