Chapter 21 - Hatred

Lisa POV

The next day I visited Rosé place and bring her some flowers. I was happy enough that she reciprocated my feelings for her. I also have to thank my friend Jisoo for that.

I went to a flower shop to buy her some flowers and went to her place as I knocked the door.

Nothing was heard so I knocked again. "Is anyone home?" I asked myself before I let myself in and see no one. I took a vase and filled it with water and place the flowers since I know Chaeyoung wouldn't want wilting tulips.

I went to her bedroom in thoughts of her being there but all I saw was a note. "Meet me at the abandoned park." It stated and I looked confused.

As I was about to go there I walked out the door of the house to see one of my kingdom's men exhausted and tired.

"Oh dear get in!" I said as I leaded the man inside. I took a glass cup and filled it with water before I gave it to him.

"Your majesty.....the kingdom." The man started. "What do you mean?" I asked. "The kingdom has fallen." He said and my eyes filled with shock.

"Who would do such a thing?" I asked myself imagining how my people suffered while I was away. "Tell me all the details." I said as my face became serious forgetting about Rosé for a minute. She was important too but I needed to know what happened.

"Take your time." I said as I remembered that he probably just managed to escape. "Your majesty......everything was on fire....our men were outnumbered and many had died....we failed you." The man stated and guilt arose my whole body.

"This is all my fault....if I hadn't." I thought to myself before looking back at the man who just gave me a report. "Don't feel bad....you didn't failed me." I said and the man looked at me. "But your majesty!" The man said and I gave him a glare to shut up.

"How many survived?" I asked. "If I estimate it your majesty about a third of the people living there." He said and I sighed in relief.

"We can still rebuilt." I thought to myself before telling the man. "You didn't dissapoint me. As you said you were overnumbered. You did more than enough." I said as I patted his shoulder.

"Now.....tell me who's the mastermind." I asked with a murder intent. I can't let the mastermind of the massacre just live. I can't just leave my people without getting avenged.

"We managed to capture some of the enemies men and they said it was..........Queen Jesoon Kim." The man said and I stood there shocked.

"Jennie? That witch killed my people!?" I thought as pure hatred travelled all over my body. She's going to pay nonetheless. I don't care if we're friends. Well it's not like we're still friends now.

"Go back to the kingdom and prepare for war next week. Let Alice and everyone in the kingdom join." I said before dismissing the man. He nodded and left.

"Alice prepare for war.......atleast you get to swing your sword again." I thought to myself before realising my hatred and I screamed in frustration.

I decided to look for Rosé since I haven't seen her all day. She was my happy pill and everytime I see her my whole body just calms down.

I went to go to the abandoned park that the note said and it gave off a mysterious feeling the moment you get in it. I was looking around and saw a familiar body.

"Rosé! I've been looking all over for you!" I said smiling with my eye smile as I approached her and only to realize that she was laying down..............dead.

My bodied shivered and I couldn't believe what happened. The day was just as bad as it could but apparently it got worst.

"Rosé?" I said as I felt my knees go weak and kneeled down before her. I held her body. "Cold." It was cold and I knew it has been dead for awhile.

"Chaeyoung ah you're just joking right?" I said hoping this was all a joke. "This is just a nightmare right!?" I shouted as still no life from the body was seen.

I thought of Jennie. The mastermind of my people's massacre and possibly.......the murderer of the one I love.

"Jennie....." The moment I say her name rage, anger and hate just filled my eyes or rather my whole body. I cried as hard as I can. "You can't just die Chaeyoungie." I thought as tears just kept falling endlessly.

I hugged her tightly as if my life depended on it. I was just there sitting for hours crying and screaming.

I don't understand how my life became like this. Just yesterday I was the happiest person out there and now my heart was broken. Never ending tears fell. Eyes as dull as the color black and a person who was just my friend the other day now the person I despise most.

Meanwhile at the different kingdom

Alice POV

I just heard the news about Chaeyoung and told it to Nayeon. Poor girl is probably traumatized. I mean I can't blame her. Rosé was an amazing friend and Rosé was the person who safed Nayeon so I can't really blame her.

I missed the feeling of weilding a sword and I could finally feel it again. "I'll make sure your deaths won't be in vain." I said in my head as my goal was now focused.

I will see that evil Queen dead. I see the people still im shock and fear after the attack. We lost an awful lot of people. I don't really like seeing death but I want to see it when it comes to the queen of the other kingdom.

They made us suffer without even giving us a reason why they did it and words can't express how anger ruled my body.

"I'd like to see you suffer just like how you made the people suffer."
