"Jisoo look! So many decorations and sweets!" Jennie said looking around so eager to taste the food. "They better have chicken." Jisoo said in a low voice since she was craving for some.
Jennie was walking towards the food stall and decided to eat as much as she can since she knows that when the night falls the room will be filled with people dancing and chatting.
Jennie was amazed at how many different types of desserts there were and Jisoo followed her shortly. "Look Jisoo so many choices to pick!" Jennie said as she picked one and ate it. "Where's the chicken?" Jisoo said as she pouted. "Jisoo really? Are you gonna ignore chocolate for chicken?" Jennie said rather a bit coldly.
"Ah my sister is back." Jisoo thought as Jennie's usual coldness finally came. "I don't like cavities Jendeuk." Jisoo replied before taking a dumpling. "Look Jen it's your twin!" Jisoo said as she showed Jennie the dumpling. Jennie laughed at Jisoo's crackheadedness.
"You're ridiculous you know that." Jennie stated before taking another piece of chocolate in her mouth. "Call me all you want just note that I'm stating facts." Jisoo said before waving goodbye to Jennie since Jisoo was going to get some fresh air from the balcony.
*Jisoo POV*
An hour past and the room was already filled with people from different nations. Music was on and I wasn't really interested in dancing. I saw many people dancing and chatting but the person that got my attention most was a red haired girl.
"Have I seen her before?" I asked myself before recalling the girl at the shop. She was the one who helped me pick Jennie's gift, how could I forget. I wanted to talk to her while looking natural so I took a glance at the scene before forming a solution.
While I was looking around the room I saw my sister dancing with someone her age which made my heart ache as if it was hit by an arrow.
I decided to go back to my objective. "Hello. It seemed like we meet again." I said smiling at the girl. "Wow! You're the girl at the shop right?" She said and I was a bit honored on the fact that she remembers me.
"Your name is Rosé right?" I asked and she nodded. "I'm guessing you are Jisoon since the one dancing with Lisa is Jesoon." She said pointing at her friend dancing with my sister. I felt a bit irritated hearing Lisa's name and we barely even talked. Is it because of reputation? Ego? I let it slide since it was unreasonable for me to hate her.
"It's not fair if they're the only ones dancing right?" I said hoping to get a dance with her. "You want to dance Jisoon?" She asked. "Dance with me Rosé and call me Jisoo not Jisoon." I said offering my hand and she accepted it.
"She accepted it!" My mind squealed and now the both of us are dancing along with the people on the room. I felt like Jennie saw us since goosebumps suddenly began to form and that only happens when she's staring at me like I'm prey.
"You're a good dancer Jisoo." She complimented and I beamed a smile. "Same goes for you Rosé." I said still smiling and she chuckled at embarrassment. It was so cute that I wanted time to stop right now.
The music stopped and Jennie went towards me and I didn't even noticed since I was too busy talking to Rosé. "Jisoo I see you got company. I guess you don't need me then." She said and I sighed at her casual self. "Umm I might be acting rude but is she always that rude?" Rosé said and I immediately replied. "Don't worry it's normal." I said reassuring the girl in red.
"Oh my friend is calling me I need to go." She said pointing at the girl with bangs. Of course I excused her since I don't have the right to control her in the first place and now I'm finding Jennie.
"Wow now you came to me since your buddy there abandoned you." She said raising a brow as I saw her at the balcony getting some fresh air. "I can take back your necklace to the store you know." I said and it seemed like my reply backfired Jennie's statement.
Awkward silence filled the air until... The both of us laughed in sync. "Jichuyah~ don't take the necklace from me." Jennie whined as she laughed. "Hey Rosé didn't abandon me ok." I said laughing at our goofiness.
"Let's enjoy our birthday shall we Jendeuk?" I said offering my hand as music started playing right on cue. "I'm glad you know how to dance the male part." Jennie said before taking my hand as we dance in harmony before...it got messed up.
"Yah! Jendeukie! Stop stepping on me!" I whined and laughed as Jennie's heels where on my shoes. "I can't control these shoes Jisooyah!" She replied laughing. We continued dancing chaoticly and we just honestly enjoyed every single second of it.
Music stopped and the both of us needed to catch our breathes. "That was the best dance ever." I proudly said after having a disastrous dance with Jennie. "10 out of 10 would do it again." Jennie said in the same proud tone as I did. We laughed and talked before heading back inside to just to get food.
*Jennie POV*
I went back inside after getting some fresh air and now I was staring at the necklace Jisoo gave me. I sighed knowing I have to wait until Jisok wears my present. While walking around a girl with bangs bump into me and clearly it wasn't a delusion. It was Lisa.
"Oh no I'm so sorry if I ruined your dress!" She apologized. "Don't worry it's just cloth." I said asking a maid for a napkin or tissue for me to remove it. Music started and Lisa looked at me with eyes telling me that she's sorry.
"Can a dance repay my accident?" She asked and I blushed. "You don't really have to." I said almost stuttering. "Then shall we dance Milady?" She said giving me her palm while I accept.
We danced for quite some time and she was an amazing dancer. Finally my eyes saw Jisoo inviting a girl to a dance and I was happy she accept but kinda a bit jealous since Jisoo doesn't really like to dance let alone be the one to initiate it.
*3rd POV*
The party ended and gifts were stacked on each other. "Jisoo can we go to the sea?" Jennie asked suddenly wanting to view the waves. "Of course Jen." Jisoo said taking Jennie's hand.
They arrived by the sea and the moon was being reflected by the water. "Jisoo did you have fun today?" Jennie asked still thinking at the time Jisoo danced. "Today was amazing." She replied. "Is it because of the other girl?" Jennie asked rather pissed. "What are you talking about? I had an amazing time since I always celebrate my birthday with you." Jisoo said with a bright smile which made Jennie blush.
"I believe we haven't made our birthday wishes yet." Jisoo said looking at Jennie while she nodded. "What's your wish Jen?" Jisoo asked and Jennie looked at Jisoo. "That you'll always be by my side." Jennie said as she hugged Jisoo tightly. "Coincidence, that's my wish too." Jisoo said as she hugged Jennie back.
Not all wishes are to be fulfilled if great powers interfere.
