celebrity in swellview part 1 - henry hart

This imagine will be in Henry's POV entirely, so we're switching it up a little.

"Listen up kid, we have a new mission." Ray said walking into the Man Cave from the back. I turn around from the table that I was sitting around with Charlotte and Jasper playing Go Fish. 

"Come on Ray, I'm in the middle of a game." I tell him turning back around. "You got any 4's Jasper?"

"This mission is important, Henry." Ray goes on. 

"Go Fish." Jasper answers.

"What the butt." I say grabbing a card from the deck. 

Ray paces in front of the couch and stops in front of it. 

"Y/N L/N is coming to Swellview." He says, making us all stop and look at him. 

"As in...THEE Y/N L/N?" Jasper asks standing up from the couch. 

"Yes, she's visiting her aunt and uncle that live here. And they asked Captain Man and Kid Danger to protect her when she is out and about in Swellview." Ray continues.

I wasn't a big fan of Y/N, but I did enjoy her music. I also didn't mind her as a celebrity as I did with other celebrities. 

"But, I'm too busy doing other superhero things, so Henry, this mission is all yours." Ray said and I raise my eyebrows. 

"You're letting me do a mission on my own?" I ask him sitting on the back of the couch. 

"Well, you are getting older, and you need more responsibilities..."

"You just don't want to watch a teenage girl." Charlottes cuts him off. 

"Of course I don't. It was a favor for the Vice Mayor, and I'd rather go fight crime than babysit some famous celebrity." He said walking over to the chair that sat in front of the monitors. 

"And what makes you think I want to do it?" I ask him.

"You're a teenage boy, and I'm sure looking after a teenage girl won't be the worst thing in the world." Ray said going on the computer. 

"What if I have plans?" I ask crossing my arms. 

"You definitely don't have plans."

"What plans?" 

Charlotte and Jasper ask at the same time and I sigh. 

"Okay, okay. Fine, I'll do it." I say going back to sit down. "Can we please go back to our game now?"

After a week, I walk down the stairs and see my family sitting on the couch watching the TV. I walk behind them, and notice they are watching the news. 

"What are you all watching?" I ask, but they all shush me suddenly. 

"Shut up Henry, they're talking about Y/N." Piper says not looking away from the TV. I roll my eyes and sit beside them on the couch. 

"Yes, it is true. Y/N L/N is coming to Swellview tonight to stay with family relatives." Trent Overunder says to the camera. 

"That's right Trent." Debbie Gaperman responds and I stand up. 

"So what?" I ask, "She's just a normal teenage girl?"

"Normal teenager girl? She's the most famous singer in the Midwest!" Piper screamed pausing the TV.

"Most of her songs have hit the number one spot on the top charts!" My dad adds. 

"Oh, I've heard that." My mom chimes in. I roll my eyes and grab my coat. 

"Anyway, I'm off to work. I won't be home till late." I tell them, but they ignore me watching the TV. 

I head towards Junk N' Stuff, and go down do the Man Cave. The elevator door opens and everyone was already standing there. 

"Henry! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be at the airport!" Ray said as he saw me walk in. 

"Her plane doesn't land for another two hours." I say.

"And you're not going to be late if it's early. Now go." He said handing me keys to the Man Van. I sigh, grabbing my gum and walking towards the tube. 

I blow a bubble, transforming into Kid Danger. I hit my belt and scream up the tube. 

On my way to the airport, I wondered what she was like in person. On the TV interviews and magazine articles, she seemed nice. But celebrities were known to portray a certain image, and I was just hoping she was the same. 

I arrive and park the Man Van. Walking towards the airport, there were already hundreds of paparazzi surrounding the airport. 

I push through them and security lets me into the building. I sigh, looking around to see her standing with a few other people. 

I walk over, and we instantly lock eyes. 

"You must be Kid Danger." A man said making me look away from Y/N. 

"Um, yes. I'm here to take her to her destination, while protecting her." I say. 

"Are we really trusting a kid with her?" Another man asks and I furrow my eyebrows. Kid? I'm almost 18.

"Captain Man and I are fully capable of protecting her, we've saved the world several times." I say and I hear Y/N laugh a little. 

They walk away from me, and Y/N walks towards me. 

"So, I get to spend the whole weekend with Kid Danger." She tells me.

"I guess so." I smile at her and she smiles back. I grab her bag and fling it over my shoulder. "I have to ask, why me?"

"Well, I wanted to come visit, but my parents were against it because I was coming alone. And I told them that we can get bodyguards and all that, but they still weren't okay with it. But I talked to the Vice Mayor, and he offered that you guys would be able to do it." She says walking beside me. "And for some reason, they agreed."

"Well, you got me. Captain Man didn't really want to." I tell her and she laughs. 

"Which is understandable. You guys have the whole city to save."

We walk out the doors, and there were already paparazzi everywhere taking pictures. I put her behind me and walk through them to the Man Van. 

We get into the car, and I begin to drive away. 

"Sorry about that. They always know where I am and what I'm doing. I didn't even tell them I was visiting my relatives." She said buckling her seat belt. 

"That's alright. Same thing with Captain Man and I, although it's usually just the News or the Man Fans." 

"It must be so exciting you know? Going out and fighting crime?" She said. 

"I've been doing it for so long that it just seems normal this point." I say shrugging my shoulders. "I have been doing it since I was thirteen." 

"Weirdly enough, that was about the same age that I became famous. After that one YouTube video, my whole changed." She says and I smile. 

"Then I guess you and I aren't that different after all." I say and she smiles at me.
