***I'm continuing Aizawa's POV cause why not***
In a crowded bar, I found myself in a corner drinking a soft drink while music blared and lights dimmed around me. I don't know why I am still here, nor do I want to be here.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time; people danced, sang, and drank to their hearts' content. "This place sucks," I complained, watching the precipitation on the side of my glass fall to the table.
At least my friends are having fun. Mic swang himself next to me. "Did ya hear me sing?" Mic elbowed my arm. "Yea, I heard."
He sighed and leaned back. "Look who just came in."
I could tell by the green hair and the people laughing around her. It's the hard realization that my night got progressively worse. "Damnit."I breathed out annoyingly.
"You want me to wave her over? You seem bored". Mic took his drink up and spewed it around. "Please don't." I pleaded.
"Hey! Ms.Joke, over here." Mic waved her over. "What are you doing?" I responded, annoyed. "Come on, Eraserhead, lighten up. She's not that bad. It'll be like catching up with an old friend."
"Oh! Eraserhead! Present Mic! How have you guys been?" She waved, walking over. "It's been a good year for us, Ms. Joke, and you?" He responded, welcoming her with open arms.
She turned her gaze to me, chuckling alongside and giving a wink. "Whew, you know I could have done better. It is great to see you."
I kept my mouth shut and focused on the conversation they had going. It wasn't long before I realized he had left me in the booth with her.
She giggled lowly as she pulled one of those trick packs of gum from her pocket and offered me one. "It's really been a long time since we hang like this, really brings back the old days." She sighed in admiration as she reminisced in this loud bar.
"Yea, I guess. Although, most of the time, you followed me to my lunch spot. " I responded to her. I could feel her getting closer every second.
"So, Shota, are you dating anyone? Got your eyes on a special someone?" Her also tone happy personality quickly went serious.
"No, I don't." I placed my now empty glass on the table. "That's nice, maybe I finally have a shot. So, can we call this a date?" She chuckled.
"Please, shut up." I groaned. "Just joking Eraser Head!" She snickered. "Man, you really don't know how to take a joke do you?" She sighed.
I caught a glimpse of Y/N downing a few shots of alcohol. Just as I predicted, Midnight and Mic were right next to her cheering her on. Along with Snipe, of course.
"Do you know who that is?" Joke asked. "Yeah, she's the new emotional support teacher at the school. The kids love her, plus she's easy to talk to." I replied, never taking my eyes off her as she downed a few more drinks.
I dragged her over there as she said, "At UA, I see, so fun." She smiled. A roar of cheers and laughter echoed from the crowd at the center, where they were seated.
"Aizawa! Finally decided to join the party, along with the pro hero, Ms.Joke." Midnight laughed drunkenly, and Y/N wasn't far behind her. "Hey, guys! I haven't seen you guys in forever." Joke smiled.
Looped out Y/N said, "You're so gorgeous, I love your hair. I love you."
"Aww, thank you, I'm Ms.Joke, Aizawa's old friend." She introduced, "And you're Y/N, right?" she looked at me for reassurance.
"That's meeeee." she gleamed. Snipe passed her another drink. "Slow down with the drinks," I demanded, slithering the drink back the other direction.
"Relax Eraserhead, let the girl have her drink." Snipe replied, pushing the drink back over. "Not when she can barely stand on her own." I pointed over to her, Mic, Midnight, and somehow Joke.
He said, "It wasn't that much, she's enjoying herself." I looked back over at them, seems like Mic is struggling to handle both of them.
Joke, she's gone. Seems as if she left.
"Excuse me," I responded as I walked away from the conversation to catch up to her. She wasn't far when I reached her.
"Oh, Hey, I was just heading out. My friend is going through a rough breakup." She chuckled, nervously rubbing her neck.
"If you know with me, you know that I don't like being lied to."
She stayed silent. "What's the problem, you may be annoying, but you're still my friend."
"I'll always be a friend, right?" Her voice seeped with anger and a touch of jealousy. Her actions shocked me. An expression was full of resentment and regret.
"This is very surprising, I've never seen such a look on you. What's wrong?"
"You said earlier you didn't have anyone special, and I believed you for a moment. That evening you were totally focused on her."
As the tables turned, it was my turn to be quiet. "When we went over there, your attitude changed. Subtly watching her, assuring her that nothing was wrong."
"She's my friend, and she's heavily drunk. I'm sorry if you're upset."
"She is more than your friend, admit it, I am not upset, I want to know, y'know?" Once again, I remained silent. "That's a pretty well-set answer then." She smiled brightly. "See ya later, Eraserhead! And Goodluck"
She walked off and headed into a taxi. Millions of questions I had were cleared. I stayed outside for a minute. "I'm tired."
"I could use a helping hand here, Eraserhead," Mic called, handling both Midnight and Y/N. "I think you can handle them," I replied.
"I can't!" He whined. I sighed and walked over to them. "Ooooh, Shota, you look mad." Midnight laughed.
"He has a grumpy face frown." Y/N teased. "Finally ready?" I asked. "Mic, get the car."
They're up to something Midnight and Y/N. "Time to go, party time is over." I motioned them over. "You're gonna have to catch us," they said, giggling like two little kids.
"I don't have time for this." I threw Y/N over my shoulder and tucked Midnight between my arm and my waist.
"Look at these muscles, Y/N, so big, so strong." Midnight gleamed. "I know, it's like, I'm flying!"
"Both of you, be quiet."
"Where are you going with my date, brother?" Snipe called.
"It's not a date, silly goose," Y/N called back. "Alright, it's my turn to take care of you idiots." I sighed, thinking about the number of things they have done for me in the past few months.
It's my turn.
