Phoebe

I leaned against the sink, unprepared for what just happened out there. That wasn't like anything I'd ever experienced before. That was. . . what? Desire? Lust? Yearning? I sure as fuck didn't know. It was everything. Magic maybe. After gathering myself I headed back out, instantly locking eyes with her. She's mine. I thought to myself, knowing she'd be thinking about what she just confessed. She wanted me like I wanted her, there was no other explanation.

I turned the music up a little louder and pulled Mara up to dance with me. Everyone 'Awed' and watched us dance.

"You were back there awhile," she mentioned casually. She knew now, but she'd have to fight me to get it out of me.

"Yeah it's called a bathroom break." I explained.

"Then why do I detect you're feeling something for the fiancée?" I looked at Winter. She was talking to Kaiden while Ezra and Bo were watching us, also in conversation. "You're being naughty."

"Oh, shut up. You're bad all the time." I quipped.

"So you admit it then?" I sighed exasperated.

"Maybe." Thankfully, Ezra swooped in and graciously asked for my hand. I glided easily with him, feeling his rigid body against my own.

"I had a fun time tonight, your friends are fun." I had my arms wrapped around his neck and we were close, swaying to the music gracefully.

"I'm glad you could make it, I hope we got your mind off of whatever it was." I played with his hair locks mindlessly.

"Indeed. But now, I'd like to know a little more about you." He twirled me under his arm and brought me back into his warm body.

"Like what?" I asked, looking at him innocently.

"How long have you been single?" Everyone was up dancing now, but I was rather quite interested in talking to Ezra, mostly because I knew I couldn't talk too much to Winter.

"A few months. Me and my ex ended badly."

"His fault, or yours?" He asked, suggesting I was trouble. I feigned horror.

"You think I'm troublesome? Do I come off that way to you?" He shrugged, grinning widely.

"You just seem sure of yourself. Answer the question." I loved his confidence. He wasn't arrogant or egotistical. He just knew what he wanted.

"His. He cheated on my birthday," his thick eyebrows raised in shock. "In my bed." He closed his eyes.

"Damn, that sucks. He's one hell of an asshole." I nodded.

"Don't have to convince me, I know. I have bad tastes in men I guess, but you don't seem so bad." The song ended and he held my hand, leading me into the kitchen. He poured me some wine and I sipped.

"My girlfriend- well, Ex-girlfriend, was badly jealous. We'd been together since before the fame, and she was always a bit jealous but since then, it'd gotten unbearable. So I ended things." I could tell he loved her. A lot. It must've been hard letting her go.

"I'm sorry," I held up my glass. "To not dealing with our ex's." He tapped my merlot and took a drink. Mara announced she had to leave and left with Bo. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and thanked her for forcing me into this. I enjoyed it. We agreed to do it again. I hugged Bo, so far loving him for her. "Thanks for coming." I said.

"Thanks for havin' me, it was the best dinner I've ever had." I waved them off and then Kaiden was taking a call and heading to his apartment. He said a quick 'bye' and 'thank you' but his phone call was important. Back inside Ezra and Winter were cleaning up. I realized I'd gotten both my eye candies to myself and internally jumped with excitement.

"You guys don't have to do that." I said.

"It's no problem, it's the least we can do." Ezra shrugged, carrying dishes into the kitchen. I had a rockstar cleaning my kitchen. How embarrassing. He washed his hands and grabbed his coat. "I hope I can see you again." His eyes were sincere, and he was standing so close and I actually enjoyed it. I reached up and kissed him on his cheek.

"We'll talk." I smiled devilishly and walked away. When the door shut Winter and I gazed at each other. I didn't know what to say, so I just sauntered her way. She was nervous, and maybe even scared of her feelings. I knew I was. She was leaned against the counter and I practically rubbed against her with my wanton body. The sigh that came from her I almost pinpointed as relief.

"We can't. You know we can't and I know we can't," she panted, gazing at my lips.

"Then why are we?" I asked. I felt her heat permeate my body. "I tasted you. I'll never forget it, I can't forget it," her head fell back as if she couldn't hear anymore. She tasted better than i could've ever imagined. Sweet and warm, flavorful and clean. I wanted to kiss her along her neck but I held off and just trailed my nose along a blue vein. She shuddered and her moan was like a sirens song, my body couldn't handle hearing her without taking her. I opened my mouth for easier oxygen and could almost taste her sweet skin on my tongue. I was drooling over her. She kept her head back, and she wasn't moving so I tasted her. Felt the smoothness of her skin on my tongue as I licked along that blue vein, my teeth nipped her skin. I kissed and nibbled her delicate flesh until I reached her mouth. She was panting and grinding into me. I gripped her neck and pulled her into me, kissing her sloppily. I tasted every inch of her mouth with my ruthless, merciless tongue. I was greedy and insatiable, wanting her beneath me for me to explore. She was trying not to kiss me back but failed, her own seasoned tongue rubbing against mine.

"Stop, stop," she panted, pushing me away. I wiped my mouth and gave her space. She grabbed a towelette and wiped her mouth, her back to me. "We can't keep doing this, Fe. We have to stop." I sat on my counter, drinking. I loved she gave me a nickname.

"I can't, Winter," my voice was a bit hoarse and my lips extremely swollen. "I can't fight this. Neither can you." She turned around.

"I have to." Then she stalked out, frantic with confusion and arousal. She'd learn. We were meant to be together.
