Phoebe
I wanted to hold her. To touch her warm delicate skin. Kiss her plump cushiony lips. Being 15 feet apart was suddenly way too far. It wasn't acceptable anymore.
I frantically grabbed my pen and paper.
Where were you!?
I had to get away, to think. So I went home.
You can't ever do that again, you don't understand what that did to me.
She smiled sheepishly and my heart pounded.
Bee, I know and I don't know what I'm going to do.
I love you.
It's all I had left to say, it's all I needed her to know. She gasped and bit her lip as her eyes shimmered.
This love we have is suffocating. It's consumed me. I can't even think, Bee.
I smiled and felt my cheeks heat. I'd have to add her calling me 'Bee' to the things I'd grown addicted to. I slowly wrote the next message:
So you admit you love me?
Her answer was fast and simple.
Yes.
A door opened in her apartment and before disappearing she gave me one last longing look. I wanted to stop her but instead I wrote one last note and threw it over.
I slept peacefully for the first night in weeks. I'd rather have Winter beside me but I'd make do until then.
It was Friday and the day I agreed to host another dinner party. This time I had drinking games planned and a more fiesta themed night with; dips, tacos, burritos, and nachos. I'd also had everything to make margaritas. I'd bumped into Kaiden while taking out the garbage.
"Hey," he greeted in a friendly tone. "How are you?"
"I'm good. I heard about your trip." I said as we walked outside together. This was weird.
"Yeah, it was a nice getaway, I guess." He seemed like he felt the opposite but I shrugged it off.
"Well, I'm having another dinner party tonight. This time with drinking games and tacos, come if you want to, just bring chips or a 2 liter." His eyes widened.
"That sounds fantastic. You're a great cook why aren't you a chef?" We tossed our garbage and headed back in.
"I'm not sure, it's more personal for me. A hobby."
"Well, me and Winny will be there. I'll let her know to bring something." Winny? That was her nickname? I smiled and had the urge to laugh. I'd just found something not so perfect about Winter and I couldn't wait to tease her about it.
For games I had shot charades, and twister. A classic and fun game, a good way to get close to people and get drunk. I hoped that wasn't too on the nose. I pulled up Ezra's contact and dialed.
"Sweet girl, I thought you were ignoring me." His deep voice resonated through the phone.
"As if, just seeing if you're still coming tomorrow night?" I asked.

Romance2 girls, some notes, 15 feet apart. The note she tossed away was like a scab or a bad itch. I couldn't stop questioning what it might've said. I tried not to think too much on it but I couldn't help my curiosity. She'd written something and then dec...
