"Felix..." He whispered, nudging me. I nestled my face back into the blankets with my eyes still closed. He chuckled. "We need to get up if we're going to go."
"You go." I said yawning.
"You're kind of... on top of me."
I sat up, pressing my hand against his chest, looking at him. "Shit... sorry. I'm- you...uh." I moved back. He sat up smoothing back his hair. "At least you were warm." He glanced at me. My blushing subsided a little. "I- yeah..."
He chuckled softly and got up going over to his suitcase, he brought with him and pulled out a plastic bag, tossing it to me. I almost caught it but it slipped out of my hands and fell on the floor. "What's this?" I asked leaning over to grab it. Ben shrugged. "Clothes." He said like it was obvious. "We can't go to the hospital in our usual attire."
"You mean the suits you make me wear. That are a size smaller then my actual size... well some of them anyways."
He went quiet for a moment grabbing his own clothes out of the suitcase. "Some of them are... were Emilios." He looked at me. I just stared at him. "Why didn't you... Why are they in my room?"
He shrugged. "I didn't even know they were still there. I thought they disappeared until I saw you wearing one... they were his, well, our school uniform blazers. I'm surprised you didn't realize you were matching Marcus that one day."
"I..." I got the chills.
"I'm sorry." He shook his head. "I... shouldn't talk about him." He walked to the bathroom. I wanted to say something but I couldn't bring myself to say anything. He doesn't talk to anyone about anything, so I'm probably the first person that listens when he wants to talk besides Marcus but he's lived through all this too.
I got dressed quickly and sat on the bed waiting for him to finish. He was taking a while so I got a little bit concerned. I went and knocked on the door. "Ben?"
"I'm..." he sighed. I opened the door to see him combing his hair frustratedly. I grabbed his arm and lowered it, taking the comb from his hand. "Not everything has to be perfect, you know?"
He frowned at me.
I chuckled. "Are you nervous? Are you having anxiety about meeting my sister?" I smiled, pressing my lips together. He glared at me. "Don't do that."
"I'm being serious... you're hair looks fine."
He looked back in the mirror and ran a hand through it. "I need hair gel." He turned. I put a hand on his chest. "I like it better without it."
"You're just saying that."
"No I'm not, I promise." I put the comb down on the counter. He blew a breath from out his mouth. "Fine... let's just go."
I nodded and turned out of the bathroom then stopped waiting for him to pass me. He grabbed his wallet from off the nightstand then went out into the hallway, knocking on Marcus' door.
We were greeted a second later by a yawning Marcus, his room was still dark but the lights of a computer shone from a desk in the corner of the room. "Hmm?" He looked back and forth from the both of us.
"Noche and I are going out for a couple of hours. I got in contact with Kennedy she said she'd come and check on you. You better do your homework and please don't get into any trouble."
Marcus narrowed his eyes at the both of us. "Going out?" He questioned. I looked away. Ben sighed. "Not like... I'll order you food later just text me what you want." He turned walking down the hallway. I hurried to catch up with him. As I heard Marcus' door close, he chuckled.
