I am now close to giving birth, any day, hour, minute. I have the hospital bag packed and I am ready for when the time comes. All of the gang is here, so it makes it easier for me knowing that Johnny and my brothers are here to help every step of the way. 

I was standing in the kitchen finishing up my mug of hot chocolate. I finish it and then I rinse it out when I feel liquid run down my leg and hit the floor. 

"Darry! My water broke! " I yell. He comes running in and picks me up bridal style, carrying me to the truck. Johnny grabbed the bag and then joined my brothers and I in the truck. 

Once we got to the hospital, Soda ran in to tell the workers at the front desk I was going into labor. When I got to the desk a wheel chair was there and I was placed in it and wheeled right into a room. I was changed into a hospital gown and put into a bed and hooked up with different wires and monitors. I had Johnny, Darry, and Soda in my room. Pony stayed in the waiting room, the gang got here a few minutes after us. It was nice of them to wait and let us have space to get settled and do what was needed. 

I have been here for about an hour and I was getting close to giving birth. The nurse and doctor just walked in. 

"It's time!" the doctor called out. 

Johnny held my right hand, Soda held my left hand, and Darry stood behind Johnny by my head. Just to be clear Soda and Johnny are sitting in chairs and Darry is standing. 
Two of the nurses held my legs, one holding each leg bent in the air. The doctor was standing in front of me and there was a nurse next to the doctor. 

"Rowan, I will give you one....two...three...push. I want you to breathe in really deep when I say one, and exhale and push really hard when I say push. You got that?" she explains.

I nod my head not being able to day any words because of the pain I am in and because I am sweating. Johnny is rubbing my knuckles with his thumb, it is helping me calm down some. 

"Okay Rowan. Here we go. One...two...three... Push! "

I push as hard as I can, screaming. I whisper in pain and have tears falling down my face. Darry bends down and kisses my head and Soda and Johnny kiss my hands. 

"You got this Princess. I know it hurts, but it will be over soon." Darry coos. 

The doctor had me push again  and this time she can see the head. After a few more pushes, she is out and I can hear her cries. 

"Good job Ro. I'm proud of you." Darry said. 

"Way to go Sissy. You did amazing. " Bubby said, giving me a kiss on the head. 

"Ready to cut the umbilical cord dad? " the doctor asks. 

Johnny nodded and did as told. Once the cord was cut  the nurses cleared her up and weighed her. She was checked over and everything's good. My daughter weighs 6 lbs 7 oz. 

"And what is the name of this little princess?" the doctor asks. 

"Ember Sage Cade" Johnny and I say in sync. 

"Beautiful name for a beautiful baby" Bubby said. 

One of the nurses handed Ember to me. 
"Hey baby girl. It's me, mommy. I love you so much. Your Uncle Soda is going to spoil you rotten. I love you Ember Sage." I said holding her. I kissed her head a few times, her nose, and her little fingers. I hand Ember to Johnny. 

"Hey Ember, it's me your daddy. I love you and your mommy very much. I will protect you and keep you safe. I can't wait for the others to meet you." Johnny said  giving her a kiss on the head before handing her to Darry. He also went to go get the boys from the waiting room. 

"Hello Munchkin. I'm your Uncle Darry. I will protect you and save you from the crazy boys." Darry said, quietly. He kissed her head before handling her to Soda. 

"Hey, Em. I'm your Uncle Soda. I am so going to spoil you your parents won't let me near you. I love you princess." Soda said, kissing her nose. 

He passed her back to me and I held he close to my chest. I gently ran my right index finger up and down her right cheek. I smiled at her before smiling at my brothers. They smiled back just as happy. 

Johnny then walked in other the gang. Pony was walking next to Johnnycakes and then Steve, Dally, and Two-Bit followed behind. I was surprised about how quiet they are. 
Pony walked over and scooped Ember out of my arms and started taking to her. I scooted closer to my left towards Soda, allowing Johnny to sit next to me. Darry took the chair Johnny was previously sitting in and the rest were standing. 

"Ro, why don't you rest. Take a nap, I know your tired. Don't worry. Darry and I will make sure Ember is in good hands." Johnny told me. 
I laid down with my head on Johnny's left shoulder and was out.
