I was running to Johnny, who was in the lot. I heard him screaming on my way home from work. My shift ended early, but Soda and Steve where still working. So, here I am running to him. 

Once I get there, I see that he is surrounded by Socs and they were beating him up. I knew I couldn't do anything. "NO! Stop. Please, your gonna kill him!." I screamed. 

"DARRY! HELP!" I yelled. 

Two Socs grabbed me, keeping me in place so I was forced to watch what they did to Johnny. "Get off me off me. LET ME GO! "

I then heard the gang and was relieved." ....... 

Darry's P. O. V. 

I am getting ready for the day. I am tucking in my shirt when, I hear my sister moving around on the bed. I look over at her, she is still asleep, which means she is having a night terror. She then begins to scream. 

"Rowen! Hey, Ro, wake up." I said things along those lines to try to get her to wake up. 

Suddenly she shot up. I sat on the bed and pulled her into my chest. "It's alright. We're okay, I'm here." I cooked to her. 

I tightened my grip and layed the back of her head on my shoulder. Whispering gentle, loving things into her ear and would occasionally kiss her temple. I hate seeing her like this, it breaks my heart.

A few seconds later Soda bursts into our room and only has his jeans on and has dripping wet hair. He just got out of the shower, that might be his fastest one he has ever taken. 

"What's wrong? Ro? You okay? Was it a night terror?" he asked rushed. 

"Slow down little buddy. Yes, it was a night terror, she just woke up." I said. 

"I was showering and I heard her screaming and I took the fastest shower ever. I didn't even dry off, I just through on my jeans and rushed in here." Soda said. 

"Hey Sissy. I'm here and so is Darry. Do you want to talk about it?" Soda asked gently. 

Rowen was staring blankly at the wall in front if her. She looked over at Sodapop and her breathe hitched. 

"I was walking home from work because my shift ended and you and Steve were still working. I could hear Johnny yelling in the lot. I ran over there and saw him surrounded by Socs and they were bearing him." she paused. She had tears streaming down her face, I gently wiped them away as she hesitates saying the rest. 

"They were beating him to death. Two of them were holding me, forcing me to watch them beat Johnny and yelling things at him. I screamed for. Darry and then the whole gang showed up after a while. It was scarry." Rowen finished. 

Soda sat down next to us and hugged us. "Bubby, Dar Bear? Is Johnny alright.?" she croaks out from all the crying. 

"He's fine Baby Girl. Nothing happened to him." I said. "Why don't you take a shower and get ready while I am breakfast." I said. 

Rowen grabbed clothes and went into the bathroom and Soda and I went to leave go make breakfast. 

Rowen's P. O. V. 

I showered, brushed my teeth and hair, applied some makeup and got dressed

. I threw my PJ's on the bed and went right the kitchen to get breakfast. Darry and Soda made peanut butter and banana stuffed French toast. 

"Hey Dar Bear?" I asked. 

"Yeah" he replies. 

"You have day off right?" I asked. 

"Yeah, why?" he questions. 

"I was thinking we could go spend time with Mickey and the other horses." I said. 

"That is a wonderful idea. Soda you plan to breed Mickey right?" Darry asked. 

"Yeah. Ro and I talked about breeding him and Star. But, I don't know with who though." Soda said. 

"Okay, we'll figure it when we get there." Darry replied.

So, we (the whole gang) spent most of the day horse back riding and taking care if the horses. Soda did decide to breed Star and Mickey. We are hoping all goes well with the two of them. Star is now my horse and Soda kept Mickey, which we were both fine with. 

We decided to stop and eat at a pizza place and have a good time together. The whole day I clung to Johnny really bad, except for when we were horseback riding. Johnny was behind me on Star. He was scared and was holding on for dear life. I made sure we went slow so Johnny felt comfortable.
