I woke up with less pain today then I did yesterday. Johnny and my brothers have been a big help and I can't thank them enough. They have gotten me food, medicine, blankets and anything to help with my injuries. My stomach doesn't hurt today, which is good. I can move more and not worry about pain. I got dressed, did my makeup, brush my hair and teeth and made my way into the living room. When I got to the living room I only saw Pony and he was sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Hey Pony. Why don't you read to me?" I greeted.

He looked up at me once he finished his spot. He had this mischievous smile on his face. Not good.

"Why don't you read to me?" he asks.

I sighed and grabbed a book knowing I couldn't get out of this one. I walked into Pony and Soda's room and grabbed the only book title I knew The wizard of Oz. I sat down next to my brother and opened the book to the first chapter. I am beginning to get nervous, my heart is racing, my palms are getting sweaty and are shaking. I took a deep breath and looked at Pony.

"You can do this Nikki. Take your time and don't worry about going to fast. I'm here to help, I believe in you." Pony encourages me.

I nodded and let out a shaky breath and began reading. I stuttered and had difficulties reading the whole first chapter. I also began crying at some point. What Ponyboy and I didn't know was our brothers where standing in the doorway of the front door listening to me read. After I about and hour I finished. Once I was done I jumped off the couch crying, throwing the book on floor, running and hiding in mine and Darry's room. I made sure nobody could find me, I am hiding under the bed, in the dark, far under against the wall.

Soda's P.O.V.

"Pony, don't take it hard. You did the right the thing, letting her read. She just struggles a lot and needs time. Right now we need to find her. Hopefully she didn't jump out a window." I said.

Pony went out back and was walking around the yard, while Darry was was in their room, and I am in mine and Pony's. Darry walked in and whispered she was under the bed, way under in the back crying. That makes me sad, Ro shouldn't have to battle dyslexia a, I wish I had it over her.

"I got this. Don't worry if you don't see us for a while. Just go tell Pony where she is." I said walking to their room.

I laid down on the floor, on my stomach, and held my hand out. I felt Ro grab it and hold it tightly, we do this as a way to comfort each other. We didn't speak, just laying and holding hands.

After about an hour or two I was able to coax her out and we sat leaning against the bed hugging.

"You did amazing Ro. It took all I had not to jump around and scream. I'm proud of you, all three of us. Don't you ever forget we are supporting you 100% and will always be here." I said.

"I want ice cream" Ro said quietly.

"Alright, let's go!" I said excited, although that is just my normal self.

We pulled our shoes on and I dragged my twin out the door yelling to Darry we would be back later.

We had really big sundaes and then went around town goofing around and having fun. I love twin days.
