Today is the day we get to find out the gender of our baby, Johnny and I are so excited. Darry is taking the two of us to the hospital and will be in the room with us. It is for him being my guardian and for my comfort. I was already up and ready for the day, just waiting for my breakfast and then I'm ready to go. Johnny walked out of our bedroom dressed and came and embraced me in a hug and and we kissed, both of us having big smiles on our faces. We are just to excited to know what gender our baby is.

"Ro, come sit and eat and then we can leave" Darry said putting my breakfast on the table.

"Thanks, Darry. I'm so excited!" I said.

"I can tell your bouncing around the house. You can't keep still, I might just have to tie you to a chair to keep you still." he replied laughing a little.

That's the thing I love about Darry, Soda and I are the only ones to get Darry to crack and get him to laugh, smile, anything. We can get him to calm down, relax, laugh, and have fun. He doesn't show that side of him much, it has been years that he has been fun and laughing. Once our parents died he changed and is cold and hard, but I know he just wants what's best for us. He is a great brother and I just wish him and Pony got along and understand each other.

"Hey, you okay Ro?" Darry asked looking at him, noticing that I was spaced out.

"Yeah. I was just thinking" I reply.

"Whatcha thinking about?" he asked curiously.

"Just how you just laughed. I missed hearing you laugh and smile, you should do it more. I was also thinking about how Soda and I can get you to crack and how you and Pony don't see eye-to-eye. I know you want what's best for us, but you are just polar opposites." I say what I was thinking.

"I know. That was when things were more simple. I will try to smile more and have fun, I will also try to understand what Pony dose. It's just hard, and I'm sure you will understand, or you already do." Darry said.

The three of us headed out the door and to the truck and drove off to the hospital. Once we made it we checked in at the front desk and waited for my name to be called. Once the doctor came and called my name, we followed her back to the room and she ran checked to make sure my vitals were good. Once she was done with that and said everything looked good, she had me lay down and lift up my shirt so she could put the gel on.

"This will be cold, just a warning." she said before putting it on my stomach.

She waved the wand around and we could see the baby on the screen.

"I can tell you the gender if you want or we can keep it a secret."

"We want to know" Johnny and I said at the same time.

"Alright, you are having a girl. Congratulations!" she said.

She cleaned the gel off and gave us a few copies of the pictures of the baby. She told us to schedule the next appointment at the front desk and then we can leave. So we did just that and left to go back to the house. Since today is Saturday, there is no school and Darry, Steve, and Soda had an off day, everyone was at our house. As soon as we parked and walked in everyone was asking questions and talking at once.

"Okay, I have no idea what anyone of you asked because you were all talking at once, but we know the gender of the baby." I said.

"It's a girl!" Johnny and I said in sync.

"About time we had another girl around here." Steve said.

The rest of the day was filled with eating, talking, and relaxing. Johnny and I talked about when we wanted to start thinking about baby names and we decided to wait another month or two.
