Today is the day we head back home. It was a fun and amazing week hanging out with the gang and not having worries. Little did I know Darry was watching my every move for some reason and keeping a close eye on me. We are all in our tents pulling pillows, blankets, and anything else that was in them out. Taking tents down, making sure bags are packed, nothing left behind. Johnny and I got everything loaded where it is supposed to be and helped the rest of the gang with theirs. We are taking the same groups of people back in the same cars. 

Once we got back home, we unpacked and the boys went home. I am sitting in the couch with Soda talking, I'm beginning to feel tired. 

 "Ro, don't fall asleep now. It's only noon." He said. 

I couldn't even respond, I fell asleep.

Sodapop’s POV

Rowen was starting to fall asleep and it was only noon. 

“Ro, don’t fall asleep now. It’s only noon” I said.
Ro fell asleep anyway without an answer, I didn’t like that she’s been sleeping way to much lately.

“Darry!!” I called. He came rushing in.

"What? What's the matter?" he asked kind of panicked.

"We were taking and she fell asleep in the middle of her sentence." I said with concern. 

"Well... I'll schedule her an appointment at the doctors for tomorrow." he said with a sign. Darry left to go finish the dishes, mumbling about something. 

It was about 2 hours later when Ro woke up and went to the kitchen and grabbed a Pepsi for the both of us and some pretzels. She acts like shes been awake the whole time. It is certainly strange, I am worried about her. Something could be seriously wrong and we don't know, that's what worries me, finding out what the doctor has to say. We all know that she sleeps at night so she doesn't have insomnia, it is something else.

(Still Soda's POV) 

I woke Ro up while Darry made us breakfast. The three of us are leaving soon for Rowen's appointment, which is at 9. We showered, got dressed, and brushed our teeth and hair. Once we got to the kitchen Darry had just finished playing our food, so he hand us each a plate and a glass of chocolate milk. 

"Hey, Ro, we are fling to take you somewhere." I said pull in on my shoes. 

"Where? " she asked. 

'Can't tell you" I said. 

"Let's go" Darry said heading to the truck.

We arrived at the hospital and Rowen was beginning to freak out. We walked in and filled out some paper work and went right in to see the doctor. 

"Okay, what seems to be the problem." Dr. Howard asks. 

"Rowen has been falling asleep randomly at times theoughtout the day. She sleeps all night and is awake in the morning. It might be noon and she is talking with Sodapop, here, and falls asleep. She did that yesterday." Darry said. 

"Has this been going on long? " Dr. Howard asks, writing things down. 

"Within the last few weeks. It was beginning to concern the two of us, her younger brother and ber boyfriend. Our three close friends didn't pick up on it like the four if us did." Darry said. 

"Okay, I will run some tests." Dr. Howard said, and began running test and stuff. 

I am sitting next to Ro holding her hand for comfort. She hates hospitals, so this is hard for her. About 20 minutes later the doctor came back in with hopefully good news and answers. 

"Okay it looks like Rowen has Hypersomnia - being unable to stay awake during the day. This includes narcolepsy, which causes extreme daytime sleepiness." Dr. Howard said. 

After that we took the papers of information and a paper about medicine. We went to the front desk and signed out and went to the drug store to pick up her medicine. 

"Ro, we did this because we are worried and concerned. We didn't want anything bad to happen. Darry made an appointment after you fell asleep on me in the middle of talking." I said. 

After picking up the medicine we went home. Darry and I made sure she took her pills and then she went to one of her rooms to think things over. I am guessing she is in her and Johnny's room.
