Life has been treating me and the gang nicely. Everything is falling into place with all of us; Johnny and I are engaged and soon-to-be married, Ember is 7 months old, Darry got a promotion at the roofing company he works for so now he is manager and gets paid triple what he used too, Pony is going to college. Steve moved out of his dad's house and has a house with Evie.

It is a nice October day, the whole gang is at my house to have a nice get-together. We are having a BBQ in the backyard. Darry and I made all of the food and prepared everything. It is picnic styled; blankets on the grass, the football and other things are outside to keep us busy and have fun. Johnny and I are currently sitting on one of the blankets with Ember, talking about our wedding. We are having it October 20th, today is the 2nd. We were so caught up in talking we were caught of guard by Ember.

"Mama" Ember said. Johnny and I looked at each other shocked.

"Say it again baby." I said.

"Mama" Ember said again.

"That's right. Ember, who's that?" I say to her, pointing at Johnny.

"Dada" she said.

Johnny and I looked over at each other again and kissed. We both both kissed her cheeks.

I had happy tears in my eyes, that I just couldn't contain. I saw Darry look over at us and he must have saw the tears because he walked of to us.

"What's wrong Ro?" he asked concerned.

"Nothing." I reply.

"Then why the tears?" he asked.

"Because she said her first words." I say.

"Mama" Ember said. I then pointed to Johnny and she said "dada".

"Good for you baby girl. Let's go visit Uncle Soda." Darry said picking her up and headed over to my twin.

"I can't believe it, her words words. Then she will be crawling, talking, walking. She is growing up too fast, she needs to slow down and not leave." I said crying a bit.

Johnny pulled me onto his lap and hugged me tight, comforting me. " Yes, she is growing up but we have to think about the good times and the memories. We will have more kids and it will be just like this, but think about all of the accomplishments and stuff that make us happy and proud." he says.

"I know. I can't wait to have more and see what the future is like" I reply.
