Melanie and Noah fell in love with one another, sharing endless emotions and perfect happiness. However, they kept their true identities a secret from one another. They were both a part of a perilous life. gang life. However, their shared affiliatio...
Noah handed the gun to Melanie. She hesitated before taking the gun from Noah's hand. They were then standing in Noah's living room as they started their practise session. "Now show me how you would hold that toy?". Noah said as he seated on the couch infront of her. "Do you really believe I'm so incompetent that I wouldn't know how to hold the gun?". Melanie asked slightly offended by Noah's statement.
"Ofcourse you do. But I still wanna see". Noah replied as he adjusted himself on the couch waiting for her. Melanie gulped before raising her hand upwards as she aimed the wall infront of her.
Ignoring how nervous she was, proving herself while a handsomely gorgeous man is staring up at her, she adjusted her hands twice and then looked at Noah. "Like this?". She asked but Noah just grinned at her. "Nice try, I'll show you". He said as he stood up and took the pistol from her hands.
"The proper way of holding a gun is to take your hand and shove it up as high as you possibly can behind the strap of the forearm okay? Then set your three fingers at the bottom, you've probably seen in the movies". Noah explained as well as showed her to hold the gun at the same time. He handed the gun back to Melanie. "Now try again".
Melanie raised her hand again to aim the wall but seemed like she still wasn't holding it the right way because Noah offered his help once again. He stood right behind her, so close that Melanie could feel his warm breath touching her neck.
With his right hand he straightened her elbow. "Keep your arm straight". Then he gently lowered her shoulders. "And relax your shoulders. Chin up". His touches were like an electrical charge that gave Melanie shivers. Her heart would skip a beat everytime Noah touched her. Noah took her left hand and also put it on the gun while adjusting the placement of both hands on it, now Melanie was stucked between his arms.
"When you're a beginner, you're gonna have to use both of your hands". He told and then rested his head on her right shoulder, teaching her how to aim. "Aiming should be done with the gun's muzzle below the target. Otherwise the bullet will go above the target". He said as he adjusted the muzzle infront of the wall while his head still resting on her shoulder.
Melanie caught a glimpse of Noah out of the corner of her eyes, she was so nervous that her heart begun to race and her cheeks begun to flush pink. Noah was busy in adjusting the muzzle at the spot he wanted her to shoot. When finally he found it, he immediately stopped. "Shoot". He whispered.
"What? No.. your wall_", "Don't worry, It's a bullet proof wall pannel". Noah interupted and ordered her to shoot. Melanie swallowed down the fear before sliding her finger into the trigger. It took almost all of her strength to pull the trigger and the sound of the bullet striking the wall made her flinch really hard. "How did I do?". Melanie asked admiring the hole in the wall, being obviously proud of herself.
"It was amazing for your first. That's enough practice for today". He said and then kissed her cheek. It appeared as if the kiss turned him on even more because then he brushed his fingers against the nape of her neck and placed a kiss recieving a gasp from Melanie's mouth. He took the gun out of her hand and threw it on the couch while he did not break the kiss.
Noah held her hands from behind, locking her between his. He deeply kissed her neck and then mumbled words on her skin. "I love you".
Melanie smiled to herself before pulling away from him. "It's late, I have to get home". She said and Noah nodded. "I'll drop you". He said while he searched for his car key. "No, I'll be fine". Melanie replied putting her phone in her pocket. "There's no choice. I'm gonna drop you and that's final". Noah insisted.
"God Noah you're so stubborn". Melanie chuckled while pushing a loose strand of hairs behind her ear. "I'm only being dominant with what's mine". Noah winked and Melanie shook her head at his humour.
They both got in the car and Noah drove away. The whole drive was quiet except, Noah would occasionally tell Melanie about his favorite songs and ask about hers.
Melanie's POV
This man, right beside me.. He's the best I could ask for. The way he comforts me, protects me, makes sure I'm okay and he cares about me making me feel safe. He's perfect. I love him so much. I don't want to live in a world without him. All I want is to spend my life in his arms.
Waking up to the sunlight streaming through a window with a breathtaking view. I could see the soaring birds and the gorgeous sky. When I'll turn my head to the side, I would see a handsome, beautiful man sleeping soundly. I would have the sense of security and closeness to him because he had been at my side the entire night, holding me in his arms.
This breaks my heart that life isn't easy for us, and that we have so many hurdles to pass, so many obstacles to jump through and so much pain to endure. Sinking deep into my thoughts, I didn't noticed that I had tears in my eyes. I felt Noah gently shaking my hand to bring me back in reality. I abrupty looked at him.
"Are you crying?". He asked and I quickly wiped away my tears. "No, something must have got into my eyes". I tried to came up with an excuse. Noah nodded his head and looked infront. "You can't fool me Melanie, I know you very well". He said and pulled two blocks away from my building. I looked at his way and he caressed my face.
"You know you can share with me what's bothering you. I promise I will do everything to release the discomfortness". He said. I held his hands that were holding my face and he kissed my forehead while I nodded at his words. We finally bid our adieus and I walked to my building smiling on the fact that he's still there behind me until I dissapear from his sight.
When I reached the building I saw all of our cars parked outside as if the members are getting ready to go somewhere. I gulped when I realised that maybe it could be because of me. I was disappeared for more than three hours. I slowly made my way inside the building and there they were, Mr. Duncan and Daisy. Their eyes got widened and they all glared at me, that made me nervous.
Daisy walked up to me and stood still until a quick, loud slap was pressed against my right cheek. I held my cheek but I could not looked back to them, too scared to give them the answers. Tears started forming in my eyes, it wasn't until I saw Mr. Duncan coming towards me. He violently jerked my whole body trying to squeeze out the answers.
"Look at me Melanie, where were you?". I resisted and tried to breakfree from his grip but his grip only grew stronger. "Answer me Goddammit, We've been looking for you. Are you so careless that you couldn't even leave a text for us so that we know you are okay?". He scolded. I said nothing but cried. He let go of me and pulled his hairs to cope up with his anger.
Daisy grasped my jaw roughly and lifted my face in an attempt to extract answers from me. "You bitch! You're gonna tell me where you were or else I'll destroy this beautiful face of yours. START TALKING". She shouted and I screeched in pain as she pulled my hairs.
She slapped me one last time before Mr. Duncan intervened and asked Daisy to stop it. He then came to me and held my face in his hands. "Look Melanie, you know exactly why we're asking you these questions. We are worried for you Melanie. You are my responsibility. Your father left you to me because he trusts me, please tell us where were you. You were gone for three hours". He said.
I let out a deep breath and agreed to tell them everything, from the start.
