Stephan yawned. He checked the time on his watch, it was 6:00 am. He rubbed his eyes and glanced at Lanny and Matt. They were asleep. He rolled his eyes and threw an empty plastic bottle at them that caused them to wake up immediately.
"We're not here to sleep dumbos". stephan spoke irritably. "Ughh Stephan, I was having such a good dream. I saw that I won a car in a lucky draw". Lanny said in a raspy voice. "Really? You see Lanny, this is why you only have dreams, since you don't put in the effort to make them true". Stephan uttered scribbling something in his notebook.
"What else do you want us to do, Stephan? We have already scanned this entire map, searched numerous locations on google and noted a tonne of information". Matt said as he picked up his pen and continued his work.
"You guys, All I'm trying to do is help our leader. And also perform my responsibility". Stephan sighed and rubbed his temples. "Let's get to work now. Here, I have summarised these two places. Send our men in two different groups. Both of you will led a different group. Understood?". Stephan asked and handed a paper in Matt's hand.
"Ok, but I'm still wondering about these lines on this map. What does it mean?". Matt ruminated. "Those lines are bullshit. What do you think I did while you guys were asleep. I rewrote these lines thousand times but nothing made sense. Now go ahead and do what I said". Stephan rolled his eyes.
Matt and Lanny nodded and left the room, while Stephan rested his head on the table and drifted to sleep.
Sorties building (8:00 am)
The loud alarm made Daisy flinched and open her eyes instantly. She was lying on Duncan's chest. She sat up and glanced at Duncan, he was sleeping peacefuly. Daisy turned off the alarm. She changed her clothes and headed downstairs to make breakfast for herself.
She saw Melanie reading a book in the dining room. "Morning". She said while taking out cups. "Morning Daisy, how are you today?". Melanie asked and took a sip of her coffee. "Good. So what are your plans for today?". She asked as she poured milk in her coffee.
"Mr. Duncan has asked me join the party, so yeah.. pretty much that". Melanie replied. "Really? Duncan allowed you to attend a gang party? That's unusual. Anyways.. have you decided something to wear at the party?". Daisy asked while taking out two eggs from the refrigerator.
"No, not yet". "Well you should. Otherwise you'll not be able to get ready on time". Daisy spoke and left the kitchen. Melanie finished her coffee and decided to go buy a new dress for this party. All her dresses were old and not fancy enough.
After three hours of shopping with Mia, Melanie came back home. She went into her room and continued reading her book until it was 6 pm.
Melanie's POV
It's 6:00 pm already. Well, time to get ready. I quickly slipped into my dress and put on some makeup. After doing my hair, I touched up one last time and looked at myself at the mirror.
