Stephan handed the adressess of the locations he summarised earlier to Matt and Lanny. "And remember, if anything goes wrong, I'm not going to be responsible for it". He said crossed his hands against his chest.
"But what do we have to do. Just randomely go there and start digging? Is it even legal?". Matt asked folding the paper. "Since when did we start performing legal activities?". Stephan scoffed and went away.
"One day, his greed will lead to his downfall". Matt spat before exiting the building and Lanny followed him with their teams.
At Lanny's Location
Lanny was getting frustrated standing all day in the scorching heat that made his throat parched. But they ran out of water bottles. "How much longer will it take?". He asked wiping his sweat.
"Sir few more minutes". The workers replied as they were digging a large whole. Lanny nodded and stretched his hands to avoid having back pains. Suddenly two patrol cars pulled infront of them. Three officers climbed out and looked around. "What are you guys doing?". One of them asked.
The team looked up at Lanny and the officers followed their gaze. "So you're the leader here. Do you know this is illegal?". He asked crossing his hands. Lanny raised his hand and signaled them to come to him. The officers made their way to Lanny and he showed them his card.
"Lanny Hudson 27, Member of Menecions gang..", They stopped reading and stared at Lanny. "You can leave now and let me do my work". Lanny said taking back the card from their hands and put it back in his pocket. The officers looked at each other and then left the scene immediately.
A smirk appeared at Lanny's face as he stood their proudly. "Sir we have found something". The workers called. Lanny peeked down at the hole and saw a dirty box that looked like a treasure box. "Put it in the car and let's go". He said and informed Matt about the box.

Noah's POV
"Did you like it?". I asked when I saw her touching a decoration in my room. She smiled at the piece and nodded. I was standing with my back pressed against the dresser and hands resting behind me on the dresser. It was a beautiful decoration piece that my dad gifted me. An antique metal car that was covered in flecks of rust.
