Chapter 13

3rd Person View

"The mall is boringgggg! Let's go somewhere else." Dyrroth complained. Ruby who was walking in front of him turned her head towards the demon.

"Fine! where do you want to go?" Ruby asked. The demon then smirked and quickly pulled Ruby's hand.

Dyrroth held the girl's hand firmly so they won't get separated. Dyrroth dashed through the crowd until they reached the exit.

"H-Hey! Can you atleast t-tell me where we're going?!" Ruby shouted as she almost tripped.

"We're going somewhere more amusing than this shabby place." Dyrroth answered, still holding Ruby's hand.

The two was running for 5 minutes already. Ruby was getting tired and was slowing down.

Dyrroth noticed her slowing down so he stoped. The next thing that happened surprised the abyss out of Ruby.

Dyrroth suddenly carried her, bridal style by the way. Ruby's cheek turned red, but not enough for Dyrroth to notice. Ruby hid her face with her hood, embarrassed with their situation.

"Hold on tight, I haven't tried this while carry someone." Dyrroth warned her.

"W-wait! Hold on tight where exactly?!" Ruby asked herself, not really sure of the idea. Dyrroth then looked at her confused, not sure why she hasn't done what he had told her yet.

"Ruby make haste! I'm not getting younger here!" Dyrroth said annoyed. Ruby then suddenly punched him in the face.

Dyrroth was taken aback, he did everything to maintain his balance. Dyrroth didn't want to drop Ruby since it might make things worse.

"I-Idiot! Where am I gonna hold exaclty?!" Ruby asked. Although she already know the answer, she just wanted to make sure.

After Dyrroth was able to straighten himself again, he questioned Ruby's..... Well question.

"What do you mean where? Of course wrap your arms around my..... I see what you mean." Dyrroth finally understood why Ruby punched him.

Ruby then wrapped her arms around Dyrroth's neck, earning a confused looked from the demon.

"I thought you didn't like the idea?" Dyrroth asked. Ruby then looked away from him and answered, "I-I never said I d-didn't like it."

Dyrroth then laughed, "You're really a fascinating one." The demon then readied himself and Ruby.

"Don't let go." Dyrroth said before starting to run.

"I-Idiot! What makes you think I want to let go...." Ruby said inside her head, she wasn't sure why her heart was beating so fast.

"Tell me again why we're here in the Abyss?" Ruby asked the demon who was still carrying her.

"The Abyss is home to me. Plus I haven't showed you around yet." Dyrroth answered.

Although Dyrroth was still carrying Ruby, he no longer was running.

Also, Ruby still has her arms wrapped around Dyrroth.

Dyrroth first showed her where he got the dragon he gave her, which was a domain twice the size of a foot ball field.

The two stoo- uhm, I mean Dyrroth stood where they could see a good view of the domain.

"Woah!! There are so many!" Ruby said in awe. There were dragons that looked 10ft tall and some were 20ft tall.
