Chapter 18

3rd Person View

"Oh hey Kimmy! What are you doing there?"

Kimmy who was hiding behind a wall was startled to hear Claude behind her.

"Oh it's just you." Kimmy then looked once again to see that Beatrix and Ruby had finally went inside the Lunch Area.

Suddenly from behind, Claude slapped Kimmy's back head when the girl didn't answer.

Kimmy then stumbled forward and tried to balance herself. After she regained balance Kimmy gave Claude a death glare.

"Easy on the eyes there, just a little more and you'll look like the Death Cha-!"

Frustrated, Kimmy punched Claude's stomach, making him fall to his knees.

"Oi! Claude. Why's Beatrix here?" Kimmy asked while stomping on the male marksman, not really caring that Claude's already in pain.

While Kimmy was still stomping on Claude, Layla appeared behind them.

"Hey Kimmy! Hey Cla- ...... You know I rather not question you both on your friendship but isn't this a little too brutal?" Layla said while raising one of her eyebrows.

Kimmy then stopped and turned her head at Layla. She happy to see one of her friends. They were classmates last year but unfortunately not this year.

"Wanna have lunch together?" Kimmy asked. Obviously still annoyed with Claude.

Layla then agreed and the two left Claude still laying on the floor.

"Hey Kimmy, why were you even beating up Claude?"

"Because that idiot should learn not to hit me behind the head."

In the Lunch Room, it was more chaotic. Beatrix and Ruby both insisted sitting beside Dyrroth. Resulting to Dyrroth sitting on the middle while Ruby was on his right and Beatrix on his left.

"What's with this two?" Dyrroth asked himself.

No one spoke a word while eating. It was like a battlefield on the table. Neither side wanted to lose their ground.

But the silent was broken when Dyrroth noticed that there wasn't any water left on his cup.

"I'm out of water, I'm gonna refill my c-!" But the demon was cut off when Ruby suddenly gave her water.

"Here take it!" Ruby said as she held her cup in front of Dyrroth.

The demon was about to take it when Beatrix also held out her cup.

"No! You wouldn't want her losing water now would you? So take mine instead!" Beatrix tried to reason.

Dyrroth who was still confused didn't know what to do. Before he could even say anything, Ruby  grabbed his face.

"LOOK AT ME! I insist!" Ruby said with a terrifying tone.

Of course Beatrix wasn't one to back down so she grabbed his ear and pulled him to her.

"I HAVEN'T TOUCH MINE YET SO IT WOULD BE THE SAME AS GETTING A NEW ONE!" Beatrix shouted.

Because of the commotion. A number of students were now looking at them.

Some of the male were even jealous of Dyrroth because he had Beatrix's full attention.

Everything was not getting out of hand. Ruby and Beatrix doesn't care about the water anymore. They wanted to prove who's more worthy of Dyrroth.
