Chapter 16

3rd Person View

The following day, Ruby and Dyrroth were back at the Academy. They told no one about what had happended yesterday.

It was kinda embarrassing for the two to be honest. Well they'll get use to it eventually. But for now, they wanted to hide it.

Or so they thought they could hide it.

"Oi Orc face! How did it go?" Guinevere waved at Dyrroth who was walking through the hallway.

The memory of him and Ruby kissing suddenly made its way to his brain. Dyrroth then blushed and began to get flustered while walking.

Guinevere, who was only a few feet away, had a devilish smile on her face. They were now beside each other, allowing Guinevere to elbow Dyrroth.

"Looks like someone is happy!" Guinevere said, fan girling a little. Just then Gusion appeared behind them and ask what they were talking about.

"Oh nothingggg. Idiot here finally confessed." Guinevere said, pointing at Dyrroth.

Gusion then felt happy as well. It was great to know that his friend was having a blast.

While Gusion was headlocking Dyrroth, Guinevere asked out of curiosity if they kissed.

"Dyrroth, did you two.... you know.... Kiss???" Guinevere asked. Of course whispering it only since the demon might get mad if the whole academy finds out.

Gusion then released his grip and showed a beet red Dyrroth trying to hide his face. "HAHAHA! You did! Did you?" Guinevere was once again teasing the demon.

"So who kissed first? Or did both you do it at the same time?" Gusion asked. Dyrroth then recalled Ruby crashing her lips into his.

"Ruby did." Dyrroth answered. Guinevere and Gusion then were trying to hold their laughter. It wasn't because it was funny, but it was because that they were really proud of their friend.

After a few more seconds of laughing, the stopped. "Alright, goodluck to Ruby." Guinevere said as she waved goodbye since classes were about to start.

"See you later Dy!" Gusion also left, going to his own class.

Dyrroth then walked quickly towards his room. He wanted to see Ruby again.

As he entered, he saw Ruby sitting on her chair with Kagura and Lesley around her.

Ruby noticed him and waved. Dyrroth blushed and waved back as well.

He was about to go to his seat when he noticed Kimmy giving him a surprised look. "What?" Dyrroth asked the marksman.

"Nothing. You usually nod or don't respond." Kimmy explained. Dyrroth then just raised one of his brow and sighed.

"Will we be able to hide this."

During lunch time, Ruby stayed in the room. She wanted to have lunch with Dyrroth.

Of course the demon stayed upon knowing this. So the two connected their chairs together and began eating.

Dyrroth, as usual, didn't bring any food and was sharing with Ruby. Thankfully Ruby's lunch was something Dyrroth would eat. Sushi.

The two ate peacefully, though they don't say it, but they were happy right now.

As they were eating, Dyrroth noticed that Ruby wasn't wearing her eyepatch today. So the demon tapped the table to get Ruby's attention.
