In Love with a Demon Prince (RubyxDyrroth)

Chapter 1

3rd Person View

*beep beep beep*

The noise then was stopped by a young girl who was crawling out of bed. She had blonde hair, green eyes and was.... short.

Well her size would be normal if she was in middle school, but she's not. She is in fact in highschool already, but just a second year.

Her name was Ruby Butterfly, she lives with her grandparents and is now transferring to MLA (Mobile Legend Academy)

(Author here, I know in some books they already used that name but lets stick with it since I like it. Going back the story)

She then groaned while sitting up, as she stood up, she did some stretching. After getting ready, she took a red eye patch beside her bed and wore it.

Ruby then went down stairs to eat with her grandparents.

Sitting in the middle she was asked a couple of questions. "Ruby dear, do you feel nervous?" asked her grandmother. Ruby responded  by denying and saying she was somewhat excited.

"If you meet a terrible person, show them a few swings using your scythe," says her grandfathers who was chuckling. "Will do," Ruby replied with a small smile.

After finishing her breakfast, Ruby hurriedly grabbed her scythes and said her goodbyes.

*at the Academy*

Ruby was staring at the academy, she couldn't believe how huge it was. "Woah, I didn't think it was this big," she said as she was thoroughly looking at the building.

After a few minutes of carful staring, she was able to get inside. Since it was her first day, she needed to go to the principal's office in order to know her schedule.

Walking through the halls and getting lost a bunch of times, she was able to find the room she was looking for.

She read the label at the door saying "Principal's Office". Ruby then knocked on the door and came in. There she saw an Elf.

"Uhm.. is the pri-i-cipal here?" Ruby asked shyly. "Yes, that will be me," the Elf said. "I am Estes, and I'll try to guess that you're the new transfer student," he added.

"Yes. Hello, I am Ruby Butterfly. I am here to get my schedule," Ruby introduced herself.

After she introduced herself, the principal Estes gave her her schedule and a name tag. "Here is your schedule and name tag," Estes smiled as he gave it to her.

"I hope you will not cause trouble and be a good student," Estes said. Ruby replied by nodding her head.

"With that, you may now go to your room. Your first subject teacher should be Roger"

Ruby then thanked the pricipal and left. While walking, Ruby who was looking at her schedule did not see a particular demon in front of her.

She then bumped into him. "Oww!" the demon yelled. Fearing of it getting mad, her scythe accidentally slipped through her hands and fell to the demon's left horn.

The scythe then pulled his left horn along with his head. Ruby who was nervous, quickly took her scythe and apologized to the demon.

"WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING!!" the demon yelled at her while his eyes pierce through her soul.

The demon was taller than her. After a few second he left and Ruby sighed in relief. While walking away, the demon grumbled and stomped his way back to his room.

"Great... what a nice way to start the year," Ruby said sarcatically as she looked at the direction where the demon left. After the demon got out of view, she continued in looking for her classroom.

Finally after a few long minutes, she was able to find her classroom. Ruby knocked on the door and instantly the teacher saw her.

Roger then opened the door and welcomed her. He was buff and WAS TALLER THAN HER. Ruby went inside and all eyes in the room turned to her.

Some gave her a weird look, maybe it was because of the eyepatch. She was sure it was really because of it.

At the corner of the room, a certain demon was in disbelief in who he saw.

"Everybody, please welcome your new classmate, Ms. Butterfly," Roger said as his hand pointed at Ruby. "Please introduce yourself"

"Hello Everyone, my name is Ruby Butterfly," Ruby said with a weak smile.

"Very well, please take the seat next to Dyrroth over at the corner," Roger said to Ruby which made the demon opened his mouth wide.

When Ruby saw who Roger was talking about, her mind then blew off. She couldn't believe he was her classmate, much less be the one sitting next to her.

As Ruby was walking towards her seat, Dyrroth was looking at hear carefully and remembered what happend earlier.

When Ruby was seated already, he instantly talked to her. "Well isn't this fate," Dyrroth said grinning at her. "I can already tell we'll be best friends," added while continue grinning at her and emphasizing when he said best friends.

"S-sure...," was all Ruby could say. This is going to be hell, was what Ruby was thinking. While the demon boy next to her was thinking on how weird the girl beside her is.

(Note: Ruby isn't much sociable and will have a hard time making friends)
