3rd Person Point of View
"Alright, want me to carry you again?" Dyrroth asked as he lowered himself for Ruby to jump on his back. But the blonde refused and made the demon give her a question look.
"You run too fast, Guinevere might get left behind." Ruby brought her scythe with her. It was just to make sure that she can defend herself if things gets under hand.
"Fine, you humans and your weak legs." Dyrroth grumbled as he had actually looked forward to in carrying Ruby once again. Guinevere rolled her eyes and ignored the demons comment before grabbing something from a satchel she had brought outside.
"Not to worry I know a way to get their fast." Guinevere said as she pulled out an orbed from her satchel.
"What's that suppose to do?" Dyrroth asked, not really impressed with what he was seeing.
"Well to inform that small brain of yours! This is a teleportation orb. As long I say the spell while we place our hand on it, it should teleport us to wherever location we think off. Though it might take a few minutes since there are three of us." Guinevere explained, a bit proud of herself for thinking of bringing the magic item with her before leaving her home.
Ruby's eyes grew bright as she had never seen such magical item before. Dyrroth on the other hand couldn't care less and urged the mage to hurry. The three placed a hand on the orb and Guinevere afterwards said the spell.
"Lanuae us ad abyssum!"
The orb soon slowly glowed, but they weren't getting teleported yet. Dyrroth assumed this was the few minutes they had to wait. But before a minute even passed Aamon suddenly appeared before them again. Even without his cloak, he was still able to hide his presence.
"Am I mistaken or did I not make myself clear!?" Aamon yelled in frustration. He could feel the sinister presence just a few meters away from them.
"The teleportation orb is still processing! Maybe a minute or two?" Guinevere explained but was only met by a groan and a sigh. Aamon had no choice left.
"Whatever you do, don't take your hand off that! Got it? The things I do for this Family." Aamon scoffed as he left and disappeared once again.
The assassin left the three and ran towards whatever men his family sent. His best guessed were a bunch of mediocre assassin his family had. If compared to him of course. Soon he stopped in his tracks to as he knew that he was in the right spot. He looked around, carefully taking one step at a time.
"I don't recall asking for assistance." Aamon spoke up.
"Aamon Paxley, do not take the Duke and Duchess as fools. Lead them to us or face the consequences." A deep voice answered. He was hiding on top of a tree. A normal person wouldn't notice his presence, not even the slightest. But Aamon was on a different level.
"Consequences.... I heard that far too many times during my time as a dog. Father and mother never treated us as their children. Perhaps they should feel the consequences too, no?" Aamon answered.
"This is not a game Aamon Paxley. Stand by your family or be disowned like your brother!" The man said louder.
"Of my many regrets, there was only one that haunted me every night. Not choosing to stand by with Gusion." Aamon without a moment to spare drew out his shards and quickly directed them towards the enemy.
"Capture him!"
Aamon waved his hand to control every shards, it wasn't any difficulty to take the enemies out. Usually he would also hide himself from time to time to change position, so that the enemies will have a hard time catching him. Unfortunately he gave his only cloak to Guinevere, who was having a hard time with Ruby and Dyrroth to use the teleporter.
