Chapter 7

3rd Person View

Ruby was in a war zone, it has been 3 weeks since Miya had joined them. Alucard and Miya was really close, like Granger level close.

Ruby was losing hope little by little, but thanks to a certain demon she gets motivated. Dyrroth usually tells her to calm down and just be herself, but she always reply "I am acting like myself."

It was lunch time again Ruby wasn't feeling like eating with them, the sight of Alucard and Miya laughing with each other just breaks her little red heart.

So for today she stayed in the room and sat beside Dyrroth, after connecting their chairs. When everything was settled, Ruby opened her lunch box and saw 4 slices of cheese pizza.

Ruby then picked which slice she liked and began eating. "You know, you should bring healthier foods, for your height I mean." Dyrroth said after taking a slice.

Ruby then gave her a murderous look, making the demon raise his hands, surrendering. "For your information, I don't know what food you eat." Ruby said before taking a bite.

"You make your own lunch?" Dyrroth said with a dumbfounded face. "At first it was my grandma who makes them but since I usually share my food with you, I volunteered to make it myself." Ruby explained, making Dyrroth suprised.

The 2 then continued talking while eating. But suddenly a person teleported behind Dyrroth, suprising the two. They both turned their heads and saw Gusion standing behind them.

"Sorry to interrupt, but Dyrroth are you not joining us today?" Gusion asked making Ruby confused. Before Dyrroth could answer, Ruby suddenly asked a question. "Wait, who's we?"

Dyrroth then answered both their questions. "No I won't be joining you, and second I eat with him and Guinevere whenever you eat with you friends."

Ruby was suprise, she didn't know Dyrroth had other friends besides her. "Oh, I guess I'll stay here then." Gusion said while taking another chair and connecting it to them.

"Why? Isn't Guinevere waiting at the cafeteria?" Dyrroth said, questioning the assassin. "No, for the first time, she had things to do." Gusion answered while sitting back on his chair.

Gusion then noticed Ruby staring at them. "Oh where are my manners? I'm Gusion Paxley, I met Dyrroth a few weeks ago. Please don't be shy around me." he said while offering his hand for a handshake.

Ruby then accepted his handshake and introduced herself. "I'm Ruby Butterfly, I transferred here 2 months ago."

"Say Gusion, aren't you popular around here? I heard you rejected a lot of girls whenever they confess to you." Ruby asked. the "the assassin is quite handsome." she thought.

Dyrroth then continued eating allowing the two to talk. Dyrroth then thought that this could be a perfect practice for Ruby, so she wouldn't be shy talking to Alucard.

"Ah yes, well.... I admit that I have rejected a lot of them, b-but in nice way. You see I have a girl that I like, but I don't know if she feels the same way." Gusion confessed.

"Who is this girl you're talking about?" Ruby asked. Gusion then looked at Dyrroth if he should tell her. The demon then gave him a thumbs up.

"Well she's in this class, her name is Lesley Vance." Gusion revealed. Ruby then was shocked, because Lesley is her friend.

"Then when do you plan to confess?" Ruby was now intrigue, she wanted to witness this in person. "I don't know yet..." Gusion replied. Making the Blonde a little disappointed.
