There were these words
Put upon your grave
The Lost Angel flies
It was she we couldn't save
I left yellow roses
For you to reach and touch
But they wilted and died
In Winter's ice clutch
Now you were gone
And my life turned grey
The days passed by
Still in the ground you lay
You left unannounced
Without a goodbye
You didn't even say
The reason why
Now I bleed too
Because I walked to the place
Where you left us all
Jumped off this cliff face
My feet were bare
My arms branches scratched
The last light of day
I didn't want to catch
I slowly stepped forward
Afraid of what awaits
My eyes filled with tears
That I must let escape
I stood on the edge
And I closed my eyes
Just like you
It was time to fly
But I had no choice
Unlike did you
If I didn't do this
They'd all die too
So I stretched out my arms
Took a last breath of air
And I fell down to the ground
My life wouldn't be spared
But I had told him
One last thing before I go
"Will you come back?"
"I promise you so."
The last thing I heard
In this life before I lost it
Were these saddest words
"Please, you promised!"
