School

Hello! This is just my little rant on how much school annoys me sometimes.

Loud and noisy is this space
For silence never occurs
The constant shifting of feet and mouths
As if the rules never were
Over and over the same repeats
No one really listens
It's as if the world outside
Never really existed
You hurry fast down the halls
Your pace beginning to quicken
At the sight of work and words to write
You begin to sicken
Anxiety for those who know
That there is no greater fear
Than these looming halls and dungeon cells
That happen to be here
Numbers fly run through your head
As you read the problem again
But time is up, time to go
Though the next hour no one is sane
Pencil gripping, hair ripping
Your eyes grow wide or close
You begin to question
Whether this time is actually an unhealthy dose
Locker doors on the verge
Of simply falling to the floor
You ask someone to fix it
So your things you can finally store
Frequent visits to the counselor
Daily trips to the nurse
The kids here are rambunctious
And your injuries just get worse
Screaming, fighting, crying
You really just want to leave
Away from theses obnoxious people
And these crowds through which you weave
Your peers are really annoying
And your group the worst of all
Everyone gets you in trouble
Though you are not of fault
And there's one more little rule
To which we must follow
No one really likes it
But your complains you manage to swallow
This place it may be scary
But you can't just run away
Welcome to this thing called school
We hope you enjoy your stay
