My heart is like the moon
My mind just like the tide
Whatever the moon says
The ocean will abide
The stars will navigate
And the sailor will follow
My eyes will map the sky
And the waves will crawl home
These stones beneath my feet
Will surely leave scars
But the moon doesn't care
It beats stronger as my heart
The moon will surely drift
Farther and farther away
The tide doesn't mind
In one place it never stays
There are places in my heart
No one ventures to
There's a dark side of the moon
And it only shines for you
