***Asher POV 1st person***
I couldn't help but want to open up to this girl I barely met. I wasn't even this open with Valerie. This girl... There just something so special about her. Something that doesn't meet the eye. I threw more of the sketches into the fire.
"The upstairs is just extra space. Nothing has been set upstairs. It was supposed to be for our children." Daisy listens calmly listening to me staring at me with her honey-colored eyes. I could feel the kindness radiating off of her as she listened intently.
"So you made this whole place for you guys and she didn't appreciate it!?" Daisy asked stunned. I simply nod.
"I have always been surrounded by a big house and not so secluded place. I find a little cottage in a wooded area romantic and homey honestly."
"Really? I wouldn't expect that coming from you. Considering your fancy attire." I said gesturing to Daisy's outfit.
"Yeah well, it's true." She smiled shyly.
"Well, this house certainly isn't filled with pleasant memories," I said and looked at her.
"Why don't we fill it with nice memories?" Daisy asks crawling towards me. I was slightly facing towards her and she crawls between my legs and kisses me. I'm stunned at how fast she changed her personality. I find myself kissing her back. I rest my hand on the back of her neck and she licks my bottom lip. I quickly pull away knowing something wasn't right. I noticed her eyes had darkened and I immediately knew what happened.
"Bring Daisy back now please." The eyes flickered back and forth between dark and light.
"No fun." Her voice sounded glitched as she gained control back.
"Oh my gosh, Asher I'm so sorry! My wolf took over." She buried her head in her hands. I took her hands in mine and give a slight smile. I give her a quick kiss on the cheek and she turned a brighter red.
"It's okay. But you'll have to pay later." I smiled cockily.
"Of course." She says returning the same energy. We waited for the fire to simmer out and it was dark out.
"Maybe we should stay in. Till tomorrow since it's dark out. I'll sleep on the couch." I said as I looked out the window behind the curtain.
"Oh, no ill stay on the couch." I shrugged my shoulders and looked at her.
"But you aren't going to sleep in that." I went into the master bedroom I once shared with Camille and open the closet. I sucked in a breath when I realized she never came to get her clothes back. I grab a t-shirt and some old shorts of Camille's. I decided to burn everything else about the clothes tomorrow. I hand the clothes to Daisy and she looks at them weirdly.
"Is something wrong?" She put the shirt down in her lap.
"Oh no. It's just I usually wear a nightgown. I can't remember the last time I wore normal clothes."
"Well, I'm going to head to bed now," I said.
"Ah, good night Asher."
"Good night Princess." Daisy smiles as I turn and head into the bedroom. I change into my nightclothes and crawl into bed. Where I didn't get good sleep.
My dreams were a slideshow of memories of Camille. There were good moments but there were mostly bad.
I covered her eyes with a blindfold extremely happy. She was radiating similar energy as I lead her by her hands up to the freshly built cottage along the stone path.
"There is a step here." She takes the step with her smile barely dropping but I saw it. I took the blind off and she sucked in a sharp breath.
"Um, wow." She said somewhat dully.
"You don't like it? I said more as a statement than a question.
"I don't know." She said tucking some brown hair behind her ear.
"I think the inside will change your mind," I said swinging open the freshly painted black door. But as we wander through the house I could tell she ain't like it one bit. There was no furniture yet and she wrinkles her nose a little. I realize now how nasty she was.
"Maybe with a second floor?" I added a second floor. Than furniture. Then a handmade lake and waterfall. Then added flowers. No matter the work I did turning my soft smooth hands slightly rough she didn't like my hard work to make her happy. Many more memories flash throughout my dream. Us kissing, cooking together, running and smiling in the field, and finally us kissing each other. Those kisses that convinced me so much that she truly loved me. It ended with the memory of my brother being clung to by Camille. I didn't see her face only the back of her head. I came here to escape everyone. Camille and I were the only ones who knew about this place. And she didn't even like the cottage but I held it dearly. It was a private place I could escape to but not without experiencing the memories of Camille.
I wake up as the sun was rising. I walked quietly into the kitchen in my grey sweats and grabs a jar of blood. I pour it into a cup and sat at the table beside the back door and began to sip it as Daisy slept peacefully on the couch. I got up and leaned against the archway frame and watched her chest rose and fall with her light breath. I remember she was a werewolf and maybe she would like some food. I looked in my fridge and ended up cooking some toast, eggs, and bacon. I cracked the window above the sink and a light morning breeze blew the baby blue curtains. As I put the food on a plate Daisy began to scream. I drop the pan and run into the living room.
"Daisy! What-" Her eyes were closed tightly as she tossed and turn.
"NO! DON'T HURT MY FAMILY PLEASE! I'll DO ANYTHING!... I WON'T DO THAT! NO PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" She shouted in her sleep as sweat formed on her forehead and her breath quickened. I ran over to her as she almost rolled off the couch. I placed my hands on her shoulders and shook her gently.
"Daisy!" I called out. Her eyes remained closed and flickering. "Daisy!!" Again nothing as she cried out. I took a deep breath and shaped her harder. "DAISY!" Her honey eyes snapped open wide as she thrashed against me. I quickly pull back.
"GETAWAY! I HATE YOU RAYMON!"
"Daisy it's me." I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her to my chest as I sat on the edge of the cushion as tears fell from her eyes. She gasped for air as she wrapped her eyes tightly around me.

She eats the food I prepared her in silence after clinging to me and crying.
"If you don't mind me asking... Who is Raymon?" She freezes as she went for a scoop of eggs.
"Who?" She had a surprised face. I twisted my fingers.
"Who is Raymon?! You shouted his name when you said to get off."
"Oh, I see." She set her fork down beside her plate. I maintained my fingers together on the table in upfront of me. "Well, he is my mate." The room went silent as I looked at her stunned. I don't understand if she had a mate why did her wolf make a move on me? She is a cheater. I should have seen this coming. I push my chair away from the table.
"You are just like her." I got up and headed out of the kitchen.
"No, wait Asher!" Daisy stumbled after me. "It isn't like that! Please just listen!" I turned and faced her.
"Fine. I'm listening." I growled.
