                                                                              ***Valerie POV 1st***

I looked down at the map provided to me by Asher's parents and Hazel.

"I don't understand! It says she should be here! There isn't even anything here! I thought there may have been a cottage or something but now I'm in complete doubt!" I slumped down onto the forest floor running my hands through my tangled curls as I looked at Asher who was observing our surroundings. I heard a noise and Asher flashes to me covering my mouth as we heard a noise like someone running into a force field and someone appears out of nowhere. We remained silent as they walked away. When they were out of sight I walked towards where the person had appeared. I walked around when I suddenly felt what felt like a waterfall rush over me and there was a whole hidden village.

"Valerie!?" I heard Asher shouting outside the invisible wall. I reached out and grabbed his arms pulling him in. He stumbles forward as I release his wrist looking around. I head straight to business and walked up to a gentleman and asked him a question

"Excuse me have you seen Cora Kobler?"
"Cora Kobler? I could take you to her house. She is getting ready to leave so we best hurry." He said and I followed him and Asher followed behind us.

"You are going to get yourself killed one day if you keep following random strangers places," Asher said to me and I rolled my eyes.

"Says the one who pretended to be their twin brother who is best friends with my mates to gain my trust," I responded. The man leading us looked over his shoulder raising his eyebrow.

"Here we are. " The man said stopping upfront the coral-colored cottage.

"Go figures." Asher snorts and I elbow him in his ribs and he lets out a gasp as I smile at the gentleman.

"Thank you I really appreciate it. He just an ass don't mind him." He gives a curt nod and heads the way we came from. I looked at Asher before taking a deep breath and walking up on the porch and knocked on the cracked door. There was no answer. I looked at Asher and he urged me forward. I slowly opened the door stepping inside.

"Um, Ms. Kobler? Are you here?" A woman around her 40's peeked out of a living room.

"What are you doing in my house?"

"Oh I'm sorry it's just I knocked and no one answered and the door was opened so I thought.."

"You would help yourself into my home?"

"No Kobler I'm so sorry-"

"Get out! I'm busy packing."

"But Ms. Kobler I nee-"

"I said get out." The woman said as she turned her back to us. In a flash, she was against the floor with Asher holding her down.

"Listen to her!" He growled.

"ASHER!" I grabbed him and slammed him on the floor. "We don't attack someone we trying to get help from!" I looked at Cora and she stared at me stunned.

"I'm so sorry Ms.Kobler. We just really need-"

"No, it's okay. Have a seat." She sat on her sofa as we sat across from her on the other side of the coffee table in dining chairs. "Um, I see you are a Hybrid." She said looking at me with her blue eyes.

"Ah yes," I said brushing my hand across the markings on my chest and shoulder.

"I suppose you are here for the cure to the sire bond," Cora said looking at me and then Asher. "And he is the one that turned you?"

"Yes ma'am."

"May I ask why you want the cure?" I looked at her surprised why would someone want to be sire to someone else where they practically can control them?

"Well um, he turned me unwilling and I have two mates. Twins. We both know that the bonds can't co-exist together in harmony." I said twisting my fingers.

"Unwilling you say?" I nod. "Is that so? You guys seem to get along rather nicely for someone forcing you to turn."

"She tolerates me." Asher snort besides me. "She wanted this cure enough to deal with me for this long.

"So what exactly did your father tell you, Prince Asher?"

"He said that he searched for a long time and he found you and that you knew the cure. That's all we know."

"Now I can tell you are with child Valerie?"

"I am."

"You care deeply for this girl." She stated to Asher. "There is only one way to cure the bond. A spell.. Along with getting rid of the attachment you have to her. Meaning your love." I felt my heart sink and I saw Asher's face fall.

"Excuse me?" I said. This can't be happening. We traveled all this way to learn it's not going to happen. I felt tears welling and my eyes glowed red.

"Don't give up hope dear. The spell can weaken the sire bond quite a bit. But the only way to completely rid of it is for him to lose his love for you." I looked at Asher who looked at his hands.

"Well as long as it weakens it. Please do the spell for us. Cora please I'm begging you." The older woman sighs and gets up walking away. She turns around and gave us a look.

"Are you coming or not?" We scramble to quickly follow her as she walks down a hall deeper into her cottage which was bigger than it appeared from the outside. She opens a door to a rather dark room compared to the rest of her bright cheery cottage. She ushered us in and shut the door leaving us in a pitch-black room but I could see. She turned on a hanging light that hung over a cauldron in the middle of the room. She walked around the room collecting ingredients and supplies. She then skims her bookshelf and pulls out a spellbook.

"I don't understand. If it's in a spellbook why are you the only one who knows the cure?" Asher asked.

"My grandmother searched for the cure for the sire bond for many years. This is full of spells she made by accident while trying to do that very thing." Cora says simply as she flips through the pages in the book written in a different language.  She took a deep breath and held her hand out to me and I sighed giving her my hand and she sliced it squeezing my blood out into the cauldron until it healed and then she did the same with Asher's hand.

"Does all the spells need blood?" Asher says snarkily. Cora let out an annoyed sigh and as she closed her eyes and began to chant. When she opens her eyes they were glowing blue she takes my hand and then Asher and tells us to chant with her. We glanced at each other before repeating what she was saying. Our eyes glowed red as we chanted and a huge gush of wind flies through the room. My hair went up above my head and whipped all around and Cora releases our hand and me and Asher began to float upwards. I felt a rush of power flash through me and I squeezed my eyes shut before opening my eyes and my mouth in a silent scream. I went blind before crashing back onto the floor. I groaned and set up and I crawled over to Asher who laid there on the floor stunned. I offered him my hand and helped him sit up.

"Are you okay?" I asked as i looked at Cora who was still chanting. She closed her eyes and her eyes stopped glowing.

"I'm afraid that is all I can do," Cora said with a sympathetic smile.

"Thank you we appreciate it," I said pulling up Asher. She leads us to the front door and I held my hand out to her and we shook hands firmly.

"It was lovely to meet you." She said and looked at Asher. "Not you." Asher glared and started towards her and I held my arm out and he struggled against it.

"Thank you again, Cora."

"I wish you good luck with your pregnancy. If you ever need to contact me again here." She waves her hand in the air and a piece of paper appeared.  "These are ways for you to contact me." I smiled as we walked out. She waved bye as we head back the way we came from.
