Chapter Twenty-Two

***Valerie POV 3rd Person***
"Honey calm down," Lucas said taking Valerie's shoulders and guides her to a seat. "Breath." Leam comes up and takes one off her shoulders in his hands.
"Val you can't run with the baby. It can cause pregnancy complications."
"I know but I want to find your mother before I give birth," Valerie said and took his hand in hers. Lucas looked at her concerned as her breaths returned to normal.
"Now start from the beginning and tell us every detail."
"Okay. I went running and I subconsciously headed the way I always saw the tower. Well, a vision came out of nowhere. From where I was they walked forward for a few minutes and turned right. They continued that way for about a mile where there was a wall covered in vines. But it turns out there was actually a tunnel behind it. I watched them knock on the door 3 times and the door was opened and they made your mom go in. I came back to my actual body and carved arrows in the trees to lead us back. It looks the same except the tunnel has water filling it and the tower has vines growing on it." Valerie quickly said and her mates' faces changed from concern to sad to hope.
"Are you sure it the right tower?" Leam asks.
"Yes, I swear Leam," Valerie said with shaky hands. "I found it. If I go inside I may be able to find out where she went." Lucas nods in silence listening to her.
"Okay well, it's late. We should say good night to the kids and go to bed ourselves so we can check out the tower tomorrow." Lucas says calmly.
"Tomorrow!? Are you kidding!?" Valerie and Leam said at the same time.
"Lucas, we are getting so close to finding mom! Why should we wait until tomorrow!?" Leam says.
"Well, first we need to contact Jasmine and Mike. We can't just go there alone. We don't know if there are traps or anything. We need to be safe." Lucas says and Valerie and Leam sigh.
"Your right."
"Are you kidding me?" Leam said groaning.
"No, I'm serious. He is right Leam. We need to be safe especially when we have two children to take care of and one on the way!" Leam sighs and nods his head.
"Let go say good night to the kids." Valerie goes into the room to find them playing with some toys.
"Alright my little wolves. Time for bed." Julian and Lucille took the toys and put them on the window sill where they put their favorite toys.
"Come on Lucy let's put your nightgown on," Valerie said holding her hand out to Lucille.
"Alrighty, little man!" Leam said and scooped Julian into his arms tickling his sides. Julian shrieked and giggled as Lucas went and got his PJs.
Valerie and Lucille went into the bathroom and took her nightgown off a hanger that was hanging on the back of the door. Lucille held her arms up and Valerie pulled her heavy skirted dress over her head and put it aside in the dirty clothes hamper. She took the silky white gown and pulled it over Lucille's head.
"There she is." Valerie smiled and booed Lucille's nose with hers. There was a knock on the door and Lucas opened the door with a happy Julian on his hip. He set him down with Leam behind.
"Brush your teeth little man." Julian grabbed his toothbrush and puts toothpaste on it.
"You too Lucy." Lucy crossed her arms and pouted as she went to get her toothbrush. Julian puts some toothpaste on her toothbrush and hands it to her. She quickly scrubbed her teeth.
"Why doesn't it taste like mint?" She asked when she spits it out in the sink.
"I got you bubble gum flavor instead. Do you like it?" Lucille nods happily and raised her arms to Valerie wanting up. Valerie lifts her as Julian finished brushing his teeth. He takes Leam's hand and walked out with them. Valerie pulled the corner of Lucille's white comforter and lowered Lucille down on the bed.
"Are you gonna get rid of us Val?" Lucille asked tucking her nose under the comforter and looked down sadly. Valerie looked at her mates' who were looking at her waiting for her answer.
"Of course not my little wolf," Valerie says smiling down at her. Lucille rubs her eyes and yawns. "I love you, Lucy," Valerie said tucking her bunny under her arm.
"Good night mommy." Valerie started in shock because that was the first time she had ever called her mommy. She looked at Lucas and Leam who were also looking in shock at Julian.
She kissed Lucille's forehead and went and kissed Julian's. She went and turned on the two lava lamps in the room. A green and yellow one on Julian's nightstand and a pink and purple one on Lucille's.
Her mates and she walk out of the room and she looks back in the room at them and turns off the light closing the door silently.
"We have to make it official," Leam said.
"Make what official?" Valerie asked still stunned.
"We have to adopt them now," Lucas said.
"He called us dad and father," Leam said with a smile.
"Really?" Valerie said her smile getting bigger. "Lucille called me mommy!" Valerie's eyes begin to well up with tears and her mates came and hugged her with similar expressions.
"We will do it tomorrow after we check out the tower. I'll schedule it after I call Jasmine and Mike."
"Okay, Valerie says as a tear slips down her cheek.
'I love you guys." Valerie says happy and comforted in their arms. They separate ways Leam heading with Valerie to the bedroom and Lucas heading to the office. Valerie changed into her short and tank top of the set and brushed her teeth with Leam. They crawled into bed and Valerie turned around and buried her head in his chest.
"What wrong?"
"Nothing just miss this. You guys have been so busy working and I have been taking care of the kids and it just feels nice." Leam's chest rumbles as he chuckles lovingly he held her tighter.
"Yeah, I missed this too. I'm sure Lucas did too." At that moment Lucas came in and shut the door he shed all his clothes but his boxers and lifted up the comforter and slipped in. He quickly wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled her neck.
"So?" Valerie asks.
"They will be here around 10."
"Okay good." She lets herself melt into her mates' arms and sigh in content.
