***Valerie POV 1st Person***

I sat once again on the old plush couch once again face to face with Asher with a cup of blood in my hand. I stared at him baffled at what his price was.

"Dates? You want me to go on dates with you?" Asher grinned with a cocky smile.

"What you were expecting more? Did you want more?" He asked stalking towards me.

"Don't get cocky! I am not attracted to you."

"Well, I can assume you didn't tell your mates that you were coming here. They would have said no for sure. So I guess technically you are sneaking around with me." He said resting one of his hands on the back of the couch behind me and leaning in towards me and I felt his fangs brush my neck. I swallowed

"Actually they know exactly where I am. They were the ones who encouraged it." I said quickly. He stopped the brief assault he was about to do to my neck and backed away. He cocked his eyebrows up in a questioning manner.

"Oh, they did now did they?"

"Of course they did. We need this bond broken before it breaks ours."

"I see." Asher takes my hands in his and I immediately looked down wanting to pull my hand away from his like it was silver but I didn't due to my wolf telling me not to or he may get angry and change his mind about helping.

"What are you doing?"

"Taking you on our second date."

"Second? We haven't even been on a first!" I said utterly confused.

"Really? We had a picnic midnight snack." My jaw slackened and I began to get angry my wolf quickly tells me to calm down. Since when has my wolf been more sensible and in control than me!?

"That wasn't a date asshole!"

"It was for me." He said as he pulled me out of the house and began to run at a fast speed forcing me to do as well. We ran for a bit until we were in a city and walking into a coffee shop.

"We have a coffee shop in the village. Why did we come all the way here? So the pack can't hear my screams?"

"No so nobody thinks the Luna is being unfaithful to her mates." I looked at him surprised he would even consider that. I went silent as we ordered some coffee and sat down in the back. I sat in silence sipping my coffee until I didn't want to deal with him staring at me for a long period.

"So how are we going to cure the sire bond?" He took another sip of his coffee.

"That I don't know." My wolf and I growled.

"Are you kidding you made a deal with me and don't even know how to cure it?!" I demanded about ready to jump across this table and choke him out.

"Relax My Hybrid. My dad will know."

"Don't call me that here!" I hissed. "Your dad? The King of Vampires? "

"Yep." He says biting into a croissant. "My father should know about sired bonds. He is the one who gave it to the Alphas' mother and father Blood Amulet to create peace. Of course, some of the vampires didn't agree. They planned a full-scale attack and that's how what happened to your mates' mother happened. There werewolves that didn't agree and werewolf packs that just wanted to get rid of their pack." I chewed my lip as I listened to his story.

"Some of his creations didn't agree either," I mumbled thinking of my vision.

"How did you know that?' Asher asked. "Only the vampires and hybrids that betrayed him know that."

"I dunno. Maybe it is because I'm a hybrid?" I lied through my teeth not wanting him to know about my visions. "Anyways how long will it take to get there?"

"Three days at most."

"Alright," I said thinking this will take no time. It's only 3 days to get there then we can be told the cure and boom I can go back home. "When do we start?"

"Well, we could head there now if you want?" I looked at him suspiciously.

"Really? Right now?" Asher smiled and leaned forward.

"Just say the word." He whispered.

"Okay. I want to start as soon as possible. Of course." I said quickly. "Please." He raises his eyebrows in surprise as I said please. Damit.

"Well, we are going to have to head to the woods. Where we first met." He said meeting my eyes as the memory flashed through my mind. We headed out of the coffee shop and ran back to the house to collect supplies and headed into the woods. I was still wary but I couldn't help but think there is more to Asher than he is letting on but I know I can't let my guard down. Not yet. I thought to myself as I watched his back as we walked. Suddenly I was much more aware and I could feel my ears perk up and I could tell Asher was much more aware as well. Suddenly I heard something rushing through the air and as I quickly stepped back Asher slammed me to the ground. My heart was pounding and my automatic response was to fight back. I struggled against him slamming him to the ground.

"What are you doing attacking me!?"

"I wasn't I was protecting-!" My head whipped to a tree as another arrow headed straight for me as Asher quickly pulls me down against his chest. I quickly pulled away and ran towards the tree this time dodging the arrow. Asher close behind as I quickly climbed the tree at a breathtaking speed and grabbed the bow out of this person's hands. Asher grabs him by the throat jumping down from the tree and shoving him to the ground.

***Asher POV 1st Person***

"Who are you!? Why would you shoot at her?!" I demanded to the man beneath me as I felt Valerie watch me.

"I'm your worst nightmare. And hers too." He jutted his chin where Valerie stood.

"Funny you say that because my worst nightmare is not having fangs to drain every single drop of blood out of your body!" I said as my eyes began to glow red. "Now who are you!?"

"My name is Samuel."

"Who sent you and why!?"

"Nobody sent me. I am a hunter of monsters like you!" Samuel shouts. "Someone did tell me your weakness, however," Samuel says looking at Valerie behind my shoulder and giving a sick grin as my eyes widen in realization. I turned around and watched Valerie turn at such a fast speed grabbing the woman that was behind her slamming her into the floor her eyes glowing a bright red. She clawed at the woman's face and neck before sinking her fangs into the woman's neck and draining her blood as the woman's life slowly left her eyes. When Valerie stood up blood was on her hands and she wiped it from the corner of her mouth as her eyes faded back to her light brown-green eyes.

***Valerie POV 1st Person***

"NO! EDEN!" I turned around startled by such a loud scream filled with agony and pain. I looked at him with the blurriness fading away from my vision.

"Asher what did you do to him?" I asked him confused. Why was he suddenly screaming in agony? Not even my wolf understood at this moment as she too had blacked out for a few seconds.

"YOU'RE A FUCKING MONSTER YOU BITCH!" The man under Asher screamed at me. I didn't understand what is going on. I looked down at my hands and my heart rate escalated.

"Asher?!" I began to panic and tears were forming.

"Hey, it's okay. It's okay Valerie."

"NO ITS NOT! SHE IS A FUCKING MONSTER SHE FUCKING KILLED HER!" The man shouted Asher let out an angry sigh and without a second thought, he snapped his neck. He quickly went up to me pushing down my hands that I was staring at. I looked up at him as he placed a hand behind my neck and pulled me to him as tears of sadness, fear and confusion slipped down my face.  I wrapped my arms around him burying my head into his shoulder.

"What have I done Asher?" He didn't respond and just held me tighter.
