Chapter Twenty-Four

Valerie stirs to something jabbing her face.
"Valerie wakes up you hybrid." She blinks her eyes a few times to focus on a pair of brown eyes.
"JASMINE!' Valerie dived at Jasmine knocking them to the floor.
"It's been too long." Jasmine looked at Valerie's stomach.
"Clearly! How are my little godkids coming along?"
"Pff, who said you and Mike are the godparents?" Her mates stir as she giggled. "I just might make Daisy the godparent."
"You wouldn't dare!" Jasmine shrieked. Valerie grinned as she spotted Mike leaning in the doorway and gave him a pure smile.
"Aren't you gonna wake them up?" Valerie said while her mates were still fast asleep.
"No. My guess is they have been overworking themselves and need this rest before we go search for clues." Valerie smiled again.
"Correct!" She said walking out past him. "I'm going to make some breakfast and coffee."
"MOMMY!" Lucille calls. Valerie nearly fainted from shock.
"Hi, baby!" Valerie says opening her arms and picking up her little girl. She smiles at the groggy Julian rubbing his eyes. "Come on little man time for breakfast." She says holding her hand out to him. He takes it still rubbing his eyes and walked like he was on autopilot beside her. They go downstairs and into the kitchen. She kisses Lucy on the forehead and got to work on breakfast. Once Valerie dishes the last plate she sees her mates walking down with messy hair and in sweatpants shirtless showing off their body. Valerie hands them a mug of coffee and gives them good morning kisses.
"We let you sleep in a bit. I know guys haven't been getting rest." Leam and Lucas grumbled as they said good morning to Lucy and Julian. Mike and them go up the stairs most likely to their office. Khloe comes down the steps and I hand her a plate.
"Morning Khloe."
"Morning dear." She said too tired to argue with Valerie about making breakfast and doing Khloe's job. "Today is quite a big day isn't it?"
"I suppose. I am very worried about what we may discover." Khole places her hand on top of mine and squeezed it gently.
"I'm sure it will be okay. Think about it. Every time you have a vision, you are one step closer to discovering what happened to their mother."
"Thank you Khole." She nods as I hand her a cup of coffee and takes a sip. Jasmine and Valerie sat on the couch in the living room and caught up on everything while watching the children finish their meal at the counter.
"So have you always had these visions?" Jasmine asks curiously.
"I don't think so. I just started having them recently."
"Maybe they just never happened the way they do now. Maybe they were dreams just like the first one?"
"Perhaps. But I better change and take care of the kids before this adventure happens today."
"Khloe will you wash the dishes? I'm going to help the kids get dressed."
"Of course dear." Jasmine follows Valerie to the kid's room and Leam and Lucas were coming out of the office.
"Ready to get dressed pups?" Leam said and snatched Julian from her.
"Excuse me, kind sir. But I believe that is mine." She said pointing at Julian who he was holding in his arms.
"No, I don't think so. I think he is mine and my brothers."
"Yes indeed," Lucas said stepping forward with a grin.
"Julian tell them! Do you belong to me or them?" Julian opens his mouth to respond but Lucas began to tickle his feet.
"Okay, you! I choose you, dads!" He shrieked.
"That's cheating!" Valerie exclaimed as she walked into the room. Leam sticks his tongue out as Lucas smiles. Lucy runs into the closet and picks a long sleeve dress.
"Good choice. It's gonna be cold today." Valerie says and picks her up. "Alright, I think it time for you to dress. " Valerie said as she walked into the bathroom with Lucy. "Take your current clothes off." She watches as Lucy struggles a little to take her nightgown off.
"Okay get your new dress. Slip your arms into the sleeves. Yes. Now put your head in." She pulls it over her head and Valerie claps.
"Good job baby. Brush your teeth now." Valerie grabs a spare toothbrush and brushed her teeth with Lucy. When they finish Julian walked in and brushes his teeth. Valerie kisses Lucy on the forehead. Then gave Julian one when he came out of the bathroom.
"Make sure to be good for Khloe today you two."
"Yes, mom." They said.
"We mean it," Lucas said. They giggled and smiled.
"We know Father," Julian said. Valerie and her mates headed to the room to change. Valerie heads into the closet and searched the closet for leggings. She slipped on a pair of black leggings and searched for a sweater. She simply took one of her mates' grey sweaters and put it on. She grabbed some socks and her favorite high top converse. She sat on the bed and struggled to put her shoes on. Lucas came out of the closet and came to help her. He placed his hand under her foot.
"Okay push your foot." She pushed her foot and her foot went in. He put the other one under her foot and held the back up with one hand and the other under it. "Okay." Valerie pushed her foot in and he tied them.
"Thanks." She kissed him on the cheek and hopped off their bed. She walked out of the room to hear Jasmine and Mike talking about something.
"When do you think we are going to?"
"I don't know Jasmine."
"Look how happy Valerie and the Alphas are. They haven't even been together as long as we have and they already have two kids and one on the way. We only have one on the way Mike." Valerie frowned a little.
"But look. We having one growing right now. We can have more if you want to try. We can also go to the doctor and see if there is something that can help us." Mike said and rubbed Jasmine's shoulder.
"I'm just worried they are going to tell me that there isn't anything they can do."
"I know. But I'm sure there is some kind of medicine." Mike said. Valerie felt extremely sad and wondered why Jasmine never talked to her about her trouble with conceiving. Sounds like it's been going on for a while.
Leam and Lucas come out of the room and Valerie smiles at them.
"Are we ready for this?" She asked as she squeezed the oversized sleeves over her palms.
"Let do this," Leam says.
"I'm ready." Lucas agrees.
Jasmine and Mike give a determined smile and a firm nod.
