Chapter Twenty-Nine

                                                                      ***Leam POV First***

I woke up groggily my head in Valerie soft lap. Her hand was still in my hair and I slowly turned to look up at her. She was fast asleep with her head resting on Lucas's. I slowly slipped out her lap and from under her hand trying my best not to wake her. She stirs a little and I hold my breath until she settles back down still softly snoring. i let out a breath as I stretched and yawned before spotting Mike still awake whispering for his now awake mate. She was asleep when I had fell asleep. 

"Good evening Alpha Leam." Mike says and Jasmine looks at me with her deep brown eyes that were held the similar determinations Valerie had in hers.

"We are almost there. It only about 30 minutes away. It would be best to wake them 15 minutes before we get there." Jasmine said to me.  I nod as I retrieve my crown from the hidden compartment under the seat from beside Lucas's. I shut it and sit beside Mike as I admired my mate. She looked like a goddess laying there asleep with a sun dangling in the middle of her forehead. The way she had done her makeup just made it even more clear. Her cheekbones glowed along with the tip of her nose. She wore black eyeliner over gold shimmery eyeshadow. Her dark skin looked so good with gold and i made her eyes pop out. I couldn't help but admired her and think how I would kill anyone who touched her. Usually I would think about how I wanted to fuck her because of my wolf but for once I was able to tender.

"What you say!?" I sighed annoyed. Spoke too soon. It like I just have a thought about him and I summon him. 

"Nothing."  I responded sweetly to him.

"Don't lie to me I heard you!"  He growled

"Then why you ask what I said!?"  I snapped back in my head.

"I thought you were going to tell me the truth!" 

"Whatever. Shut up would you?" 

"WHY YOU-"  I smirked as I shut him off. Basically I muted him.

"It's time to wake them Leam." I sighed and walked over to Valerie and sat beside her. I kissed her cheek then her forehead. I continued to do this until her beautiful eyes flickered opened. She looked at me with questioning eyes. 

"We are almost there. We need to wake Lucas." She nodded immediately having determination set in her eyes. She gently shakes Lucas and he opened his eyes and looked at Valerie. She explains in her gentle and loving voice that we were almost there. He gives her a tired kiss as he sat up. His eyes scanned the car and then looked out the window. I hand him his crown he places on his head. The car slowed down and pulled into a small town. They continued for 5 more minutes before slowing to a stop and parks. Valerie was looking at window looking up at the building. The screen separating the front and the back slid down.

"We are here." Valerie had to get a small push from Jasmine before she quickly opened the door of the car and struggled out into the warm night. Her stomach was growing slowly but surely. She continued to stare at the house as thoughts flashed through her head.

"Come on Val." I said gently taking her elbow leading her down the walkway to the houses front door. My heart began to burst in my chest. My mother could be on the other side of this door. Then I realized even if she was how would I feel? Angry? Sad? Betrayed? Broken? Joyus? My mind was racing and I could tell everyone else is too. I go to knock slowly but Valerie grabs my hand and slowly pulls it down.

"Let me do it. Please." She said her eyes pleading. I step back and she stands up straight before knocking three firm knocks on the door. The door almost immediately opened and there stood a man.
