Chapter Thirty-Seven

*** Jasmine POV 1st Person ***

I looked at all the new Wolves that were here for training of how to shift while Milke stood before a group of males with females speckled through them that were being trained in case war ever happened. I noticed Julian was watching us from a distance and I smiled. 

" Alright Pups listen up!" I barked at them. "You are either already reached the age or will be soon be old enough to shift to your wolf form. Unfortunately the Alphas could not be here today to train you themselves due to other important matters. Now just because I'm female doesn't mean I'll be going easy on you! So lets go! A lap through the woods!" Everyone remained still and I growled. "I SAID NOW!" Everyone jumped and begane to hustle into the woods past Mike's group who were doing push ups. I jogged behind them shouting at them to pick their feet up. Suddenly . I heard Leam shouting at them from the front.

"This exercise is to build up' your Stamina. The higher it is the easier it will be to shift." He shouts out to them. I look behind me to see Julian running trying to keep up with us. I slowed down a little to talk to him. He looked down when he realized I have spotted him. His dark hair flopped over his dark eyes.

"Hey buddy. shouldn't you be with your mom?" I asked stopping as the group continued ahead of us. He looked down at his hands.

"Well, I'm goiing to have to learn these things Dad and you are teaching eventually right?" He asked in a calm and determined voice. 

"Thats right." I nodded in agreement and looked at him curious or where he was going with this. "Well why wait till then when I can learn now?" Julian questioned and I couldn't help but smile.

"Because you can't shift until you hit the age 16." I replied to him expecting his face to fall and have to comfort him. Instead he looks me right in the eyes and smiles confidently.

"I'm still going to try!" Then he continues to jog in the direction the group disappeared in. I smile 'that is my nephew! He going to make a good alpha one day.' I thought to myself as I follow and he somehow caught up with them really quick. Leam catches my eyes and raise eyebrow in a question and then flickered his eyes over to his 11 year old son who was panting and had his hands on his knees.
"I dunno." I said mind linking him. "He likes to learn." 

"Well okay I suppose. Keep an eye on him please." Leam replies to me and I give a quick nod.

"By the way what happened to the ultrasound appointment?" I asked.

"Khloe got sick. Lucas is taking care of her so I thought I'd come out to help." 

I shrugged to say okay and I knew Leam was proud of his son. 

"Okay ladies and gents this is where we are going to go our separate ways. Those who are already 16 will go with me, those who haven't will go with Jasmine, our Female Beta." Leam says and the group splits port of it coming towards me and part of them towards Leam including Julian.

"Alright follow me!" I shouted heading in the opposite way of Leam.

                                                                   ***Leam POV 1st Person ***

When the clearing of the woods came in to view I smiled. This was the same place Lucas and I shifted for the first time.

"Okay, listen up. You may not get it the first day. Does any one know how long this training is?" One of the girls raises her hand hesitates before raising her hand. "Yes...?"

"My name is Stormy Alpha. I think it suppose to last about a month?" She asked shyly.

"Correct. Watch out boys! The girls might snatch it right from under you." I chuckled while the boys shifted uncomfortably. "I'm not sure you know but the woman in this pack are incredibly strong. Now, the more you practice on shifting the easier it will get started do. First things first you need to know a few things. It will hurt the first time you shift because you will feel your bones move and rearrange themselves. When you first learn you have to have some kind of visual like what I used, and yes I know it's funny, an egg not exploding. You have to imagine containing it inside the shell. After a while you won't have to visualize it and you can do it on command. One thing is you also have to make sure you make a good first impression to your wolf otherwise you may not be able to shift if the wolf doesn't like you. Any questions before we start?" Everyone looks around to see if anyone rose their hand but there wasn't. "Alright then. Let's get started. You guys need to spread out first. Good now close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine your visual into your head and SHIFT!" I fall to the ground as my body begins to rearrange it's self and shake as my fur comes out. I look to see who had shift and there was only one and it was Stormy. She had dark black fur and her eyes were a gold color. I shift back and go to her.
"Stormy would you like to tell us what you imagined?" She shook her head and let out some low barks in response. "For those who didn't understand she said she imagined the egg visual I used. Now, when you shift back imagine your clothes are still on." I step away and give her a nod. She stays still for a second before her body began to contort once more. When she was in her human form again her clothes were on. "Wow you're a natural." I chuckled. "Now continue to try until it doesn't hurt anymore and it easier." 
"Yes Alpha." They chorused as I walked over to my son Julian who was sitting against a tree watching them. 
"Hey bud. Why didn't you go with Jasmine? Since you can't shift yet." I asked him sitting beside him watching the others trying to shift or practicing. 
"I will tomorrow I just wanted to what it was like." He said and I raised my eyebrow. He was only 11 yet he isn't like how I was at all. I wanted to play to my heart's content even Lucas was like that when we were his age.
"Well it is hard the first time." I replied. 
"Yeah I see that." He said. 
"Alright well i'm going round them up. Talk to you later bud." I ruffled his dark hair and he giggles. 
"Alright everyone! Lesson is over today! Practice on your own now!" I shouted and they all gather together to leave. I would say first day was a success.
