                                                                  ***Leam POV 1st Person***

I watched as my mother made breakfast lovingly for the younger siblings I didn't even know about. Aria had blonde hair just like our mother with freckles that lightly dusted her cheeks and nose with a pair of wide violet eyes. The three year old toddler Remi had a head of dark hair and wide blue eyes and she sat in her booster chair cheering excitingly as the two twin baby boys, Ian and Damon, sat in their highchairs cooing and playing with the food that our mother had set on their trays. I couldn't help but feel the anger and jealousy I felt burning up in my heart as I slammed my chair back and stormed out of the room.

"Leam-!" My mother called after me but I shook my head walking out onto the porch which seemed to be the place I run to when I get angry the last few days. Valerie and Jasmine has been very occupied with Ryan while Lucas seemed to fit right in. A few minutes later my mother comes out and shuts the door. Her blonde hair was up in a messy bun and she had some pancake mix on her face as she wiped her hands on her pants.

"You think just because I see you taking such good care of my younger siblings I didn't know I had will get me to forgive you faster? I am not Lucas! I won't forgive you as fast! He may not be showing it but this hurt him as much as it did me he is just good at keeping his feelings in check!" I said bitterly as she sighed tiredly as she hesitantly set her hand on my shoulder.

"I know you aren't your brother. You both have always been different personality and leadership wise. I know showing that I'm a good mother isn't going to make you forgive me, but I will not neglect my children ever again and it isn't going to happen because of your anger. So get in check because I don't want your siblings thinking you are a bad person. Especially when I talked so highly of you to them." My mother said stunning me as she walked away and went inside as I watched her. I turned back around and looked at my hands. She was right and I know she is. I need to show my siblings that I care about them and I need to forgive my mom otherwise I will never be able to move on.

I walk back into the house into the kitchen and sit back in my chair and Lucas and he gave me a look to see if I was okay. I just nod and turned to Aria who was eating her pancakes and her phone was buzzing on the table beside her plate. She just ignores it and I clear my throat.

"So, do you have any hobbies? Maybe we have something in common." She smiles and tucks some of her hair behind her ears.

"I love to paint, sing, oh and I love dancing!" Aria says. Ember laughs as she sets a plate in upfront of me but instead of pancakes, there was a meat-loaded omelet steaming on the plate with extra cheese sprinkled on top. I looked up with a surprised look because she used to have this made for me when I was younger and it was my favorite food. She sat down on the end and entwined her finger under her chin with a joyous smile.

"Aria is an artistic person." Suddenly Julian and Lucy came into the kitchen and Lucy bounced up and down. Lucy really liked Remi who was actually almost 4 herself and she looked at Ember.

"Can Remi play now?" Lucy begged. Ember gives a tinkling laugh and taps Lucy's button nose.

"Sure." Remi cheers as her mom helps her down and Remi and Lucy run off past Khloe with Julian following behind like a chaperon. Aria's phone kept ringing and she huffed as she turned it off to silence the ringtone.

"Who is calling you sis?" Lucas asks and Leam nods.

"Hmm? Oh, it really isn't a big deal. He isn't important anyways." Aria said flipping her golden hair over her shoulder and getting up to wash her dish despite a maid cleaning whatever my mother had missed was in the kitchen and trying to take it from Aria to wash. Aria had simply shooed her hand away.

"Excuse me!?' I demanded quickly sliding upfront of her slamming into my twin brother who had done the same.

"A Boy!?" We demanded and Aria looks between us and shrugs her shoulder with a surprised face.

"Yeah, but like I said he isn't important," Aria said squeezing between us to get to the sink.

"Why did you break up?" I asked trying to take a more casual approach.

"He was a werewolf and wanted to break up in case one of us find our mates or whatever. It's for the best. We weren't serious obviously since we are only 13." Aria said matter of factly but her slumped shoulders said otherwise. "I'm not sure I will even find mine let alone if i will love them."

"What!?" Lucas said stunned as we slowly realized they were raised completely different from us.

"Well dad and mom... They weren't mates and they fell in love. We were taught that we allowed to date or love who we want." Aria said.

"Yes that is true Ari, but they fell in love after our father, who was her mate, passed away," I said choking a little at mentioning our father.

"Yes plus, we found our mate, Valerie. She is everything we have ever wanted and we love her more than anything." Lucas said tenderly. "At first she was reserved and flinched from small movements. She would have nightmares and was very insecure. But she loved us and we loved her. Thanks to her we have the life we want. So I'm just saying if you ever do find your mate... Try to give it a chance because we love Valerie so much and I'm sure you can find that someday too." Aria's violet eyes shun while we told her so passionately about the mate bond and ou happy life.

"Speaking of being artistic.. Do you want to come to my room so I can show you some of my sketches?" Aria asks excitedly. Lucas and I exchange a look and nod with a smile as she lead us to her room and went up to a shelf full of sketchbooks, books, and notebooks. She walked back to us us with a small stack and hands us each one. "These are some of my most recent finished sketchbooks." I opened the books and gasped in awe at the well done artwork. True it wasn't like Valerie's work but it was amazing for a 13-year-old.

"Wow Aria... These are amazing!" Aria glow with pride.

"Of course I am still improving." She remarked as I continued to flip through the pages of her work.

"You know, you and our mate have so things in common," I commented and she looked at me as she sat on her bed.

"Really? Like what, I haven't really talked to her she seems preoccupied with father and the betas." She crossed her legs into criss-cross applesauce on her soft bed.

"Well for starters you both have amazing eyes and talents in art," I said as I shut the sketchbook. "As well as you are both hybrids."

"She is a hybrid?" Aria asked sitting up straighter.

"Not born but yes," Lucas says scratching his neck.

"Ah. I would really like to know her. Maybe she could give me some pointers." Aria exclaimed as she looked down at her pile of sketchbooks.

"I'm sure she would love to do that once her and the Betas and her get everything sorted out with your dad," I said smiling.
