Chapter Thirty-Eight

*** Daisy POV 1st Person ***

I looked in the mirror and found myself touching Asher's mark on my neck again. Since that day. Asher has been practically living with me not that I mind. I love having him around me 24/7 especially when he cuddles me at night. I couldn't help but feel jealous of the Camille girl saw this side of him before me. I shook my head as if to rid of those thoughts. Today Valerie asked me to come help her and Lucille find a dress for her masquerade ball. I of course accepted because I love Lucy and it also gives Valerie and me a chance to rekindle and get closer. Asher sat on my bed watching me get ready since Leam and Lucas had requested to see him. He doesn't say but I know he doesn't want to go I wore a black tube top tucked into a gray and black plaid skirt. Over my black top had a pink jean coat. Asher gets up from the bed and hugs me from behind. His hands rested on my stomach and. I rested my hand on top of his as he rests his head on my shoulder and looked at me in the mirror and I smile at him. He Kisses my shoulder tenderly.
"I have a surprise for you tonight." He murmured in my ear causing me to shiver at how deep and smooth his voice was. He wore a brown t-shirt with a black leather coat over it with a pair of normal blue jeans. 

"Okay." I said and smiled at him before turning and wrapping my arms around his neck and kiss him gently. He tries to turn the kiss heated but I quickly pull away.
"No Asher. You're going." I said simply before turning back the mirror to fix my hair as he groaned sitting back on the bed. 
"I didn't even say anything and you already knew that I didn't want to go!" Asher groaned out falling into the bed. I laughed as I finished my French braid and turned to him going to grab his hands to pull him of the bed.

"That's right. you guys used to be friends! Come on, Ash!" I headed out of room holding his hand in mine.

We walked into the mansion where Valerie, Lucy, Leam, and Lucas was scattered through the living room and Kitchen, I turn to Asher and gave him a kiss before letting his hand go. He gives me a look before walking away with Leam and Lucas.

"Daisy! You guys are all like that now? so cute!" She said nudging my shoulder with hers. I blushed as I looked away twisting some of my loose curls. Valerie wore a simple t-shirt with leggings and sneakers with her curly hair pulled half way up into a bun. Lucy stood beside Valerie with her hair in twin buns with 2 single curls pulled out that were her bangs. she on orange tank top with white buttons down the center with ruffles on the bottom and a white pair shorts with orange roses scattered on them and a white bow tied around her waist.

"Who is ready to go pick their dresses?" Valerie asks with a smile.

"We are!" Lucy shouted excitedly jumping up and down. I smile as we head out or the mansion and got in a car.

"So I found a really good place close by. Its called 'Royal closet.' They are suppose to have the most beautiful dresses and suits for all ages. I don't think Lucy told you but her color theme is pink and blue." Valerie told me as she buckles Lucy into her car seat and then sat down herself.

"Oo. Good choices." I said smiling and Lucy beamed. I turned to Valerie to talk to her about the plans. "I have heard of 'Royal Closet' too. I have only heard good things from my friends about it. It's rather expensive though, my friend got a dress and it cost almost 2,000! But it was a beautiful dress."

"Yeah Leam and Lucas said we can spend as much to make her dream birthday." Valerie says tapping her chin thoughtfully.
