/ Tessa POV /
I set off for the shop, going by memory. I've been to it often enough I know the way by heart. It takes only a little while to reach my destination. I walk into the shop and the tinkle of bells announces my arrival, the smell hits me in the face, it smells of fabric and leather. the shopkeeper looks up and acknowledges me. The shop is a rather quaint little thing, with shelves crammed full of merchandise and walls stuffed full of bolts of fabric standing upright on top of the shelves. There was every fabric and pattern you could imagine.
I find the thread I need and I go up to the register to pay. The shopkeeper doesn't seem to notice me so I clear my throat to call attention to myself. The shopkeeper doesn't react to that, how queer. I finally speak up, in a small, meek voice I say "Sir I would very much like to pay for my item."
Finally he turns his head slowly and looks at me with baleful eyes. He stands up then starts to shudder and shake. I stare at him, not knowing what to do. From his mouth spills a blue smoke, coming out in plumes. Loads of smoke was gathering itself above his head. Then it solidifies in to a creature. It was grotesque and slimy looking, it had long claws and sharp teeth, the skin was blue.
Suddenly, I realize that this was the demon that put a curse on Will but turns out didn't really. What was a demon doing inhabiting another person or person like being. A noise erupted from the demon " Tessa Gray," it said in a raspy voice, "You are a thing that should not exist, my master has sent me to annihilate you. He would come himself but he is unable to enter this world domain."
I didn't know what to think. What did it mean by he was 'sent', who was his master, why did he want to kill me? I didn't have time to answer my thoughts because the blue demon lunged at me. I didn't bring my sereph blade. So stupid! I did the only thing I could think of, I let out a blood curdling scream.
