//Will POV//
Getting whisked off into the great unknown with a murderous demon can put a damper on your day.
We arrive in a stone room with manacles and chains nailed into the wall. Witchlight is the only thing emitting light. Marbas throws me to the ground. Looking at me like I'm a piece of scum stuck to the bottom of his shoe.
"I truly hate touching Herondale ssscum," it sneers.
"It's not exactly a joy touching you, either," I shoot back.
"Now. Now. You wouldn't want my master to punish you for being disrespectful. Now would you?" The demon threatens with an evil grin.
Like he would love to see me in pain. Which I'm very sure he would. The walls ooze mysterious substances. It's going to be a joy to be cooped up in here.
Marbas smirked a slimy smile. "I think I'll fetch my master."
"By all means," I sarcastically say to him.
"I do not appreciate this sssarcastic ssside to you, Herondale," it looked at my disdainfully.
"That's good because I wasn't looking for your appreciation."
Marbas rolled his abnormally large eyes and vanished. To fetch it's master I presume.
My cell has no doors or windows so only creatures who can teleport will be able to enter. Well, that's going to make escaping harder.
Another demon, a 'she' by the looks of it, appears with a puff of smoke.
"William. How nice of you to.... join us," it says all sickly sweet.
"Who are you?" I ask. Trying to stall from whatever it was planning to do.
"Your father would know," it sneered.
I'm confused. My father was stripped of his marks when he married my mother at a young age. He must have did, whatever he did, to this in his teenage years.
"So, what you're saying, is my father bested you when he was like 17? Wow, you must feel really low about that life event," I say. Trying to stall for whatever it had in store for me.
The demon had a whip in one hand and a dagger in the other. It lashed out, but I dodged it in time. Being a shadowhunter has its perks.
"You dare defy the great Lilith?" 'Lilith' snarls.
So that's who it is. Yeah, father never talked about her. No surprise there. I mean, he was banned from talking about it all that.
"Well, since I don't know who you are. Then I guess," I say. That probably wasn't the wisest thing to say.
The whip flashes out, catching me off guard. It's like fire. Angry red marks appear on my arm. Tearing through my sleeves.
"I'd think twice before opening that mouth of yours, boy," Lilith advises me condescendingly.
"Sorry, but I don't take advice from strangers," I taunt.
I really need to shut up if I want to live to the next day.
The whip comes down against my shoulder this time. It hurts like tarnation.
"You're on my last straw, Herondale. I've been sparing of your punishment, but I'll make sure that doesn't last long," Lilith threatens.

I wake up to a throbbing pain through my entire body. It's like I'm getting hit by a really big slab of stone every 2 seconds. Pleasant, right? Practically like frolicking through a meadow of chocolate.
Wow, I get really sarcastic when I'm in pain or a bad situation. Then again, so does Tessa. Match made in Idris, I guess.
My internal clock says it's about 6 in the morning, but it might very well be screwed up. Considering I have no way of knowing whether it's light or dark outside.
"Hello, my dear boy." A sickly sweet voice came from the gloomy darkness.
"It's time to play."
A/N I am so so so so sorry this is really late and very short.
