The year 1982 was good and bad to Mötley crüe, the sold over 20,000 copies of their first album, they were blowing up the scene with the new era of rock n roll. They had a small tour in Canada and around California. It was tough for them to get signed to a label because the radio didn't want to play them, they could sell out any club in LA but no one would sign them, luckily though Tom Zutaut signed them to Elektra records, they recorded their new album 'Shout At The Devil' and as soon as they performed it at the Three Day US Festival on May 29th, 1983 they knew they had made it.
After releasing their second album they planned on joining Ozzy Osborne on his tour and that's where this story will start off.

The past year, Nikki felt on top of the world and deep underground. The chip on his shoulder had grown to the size of a large boulder and if anyone messed with it, he'd smash it in their face. He really cared about y/n though and new that she also cared about him, though that wasn't enough to fulfill his need to be loved.
