It had been around of month and a half of working through your breakup, you were doing fine on your own, you've settled into your apartment, you and Carrie have become pretty good friends now that you live near each other, you also adopted a rag-doll cat and named him Milo.
You haven't talked to Nikki since everything happened, you've barely talked to anyone really. You've just really been trying to stand on your own and focus on your life, which is something that you hadn't really done before. When you moved to LA you got involved with Nikki so fast and life happened so fast you can't even remember a time where you were ever alone. ____________________________________
Y/Ns POV
Your alarm went off at 7:00am, Milo was laying on your chest, "Good morning Milo" you said and gave him some pets
You jumped in the shower, while you were in the shower you started to think about the fact that 'Theatre of Pain' was being released in a week, you thought about all the possible interviews and the release party, you really hoped they didn't make you cover the party or do any interviews.
You got dressed and ready for the day, you traded in your Porsche for a Toyota Corolla it was cute and cheaper.

You stormed into your boss Micheals office "What is this, I can't cover that party" you stated "Look I know it's a sensitive subject for you, but no one else could do it" he stated "Ugh, are you sure no one else can do it?" you asked "You think I would do this to you if i didn't have to y/n, your my best worker and friend, i'm sorry" he said "It's fine, this is my job and i'll have to see him eventually" you said You really did have a great boss.
